DAILY INVOCATIONS

Sunday for Holy Vocations

God our Father, who wills that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of Your truth: we beg You
to send laborers into Your harvest, and grant them grace to speak Your Word with all boldness; so that
Your Word may spread and be glorified, and all nations may know You, the only God, and Him Whom
You have sent, Jesus Christ Your Son, Our Lord. Amen.

Monday in honor of the Guardian Angels

O Holy Angels of God, I beg you: protect me against my own weakness and against the attacks of the
wicked spirits; enlighten my mind and my heart so that I may always know and accomplish the will of
God; and lead me to union with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Tuesday in honor of Saint Therese

O Little Flower of Jesus, Saint Therese, teach us, through your spiritual little way: humility and
obedience, to abandon ourselves to the will of God; a childlike faith, to see the Face of God; and charity
to give myself to God forever. Amen.

Wednesday in honor of Saint Teresa

O Saint Teresa, seraphic Virgin, beloved spouse of your crucified Lord, grant that my every thought and
desire and affection may be continually directed to doing the will of God. May I be all on fire, like you,
with the holy love of God. Amen.

Thursday in honor of Saint Francis

O Seraphic Father, Saint Francis, living image of Christ Crucified, grant that I may observe His holy
Gospel, so that detached from myself, from the world, and from all creatures, I may advance daily in the
knowledge and love of God and so live for Him alone, My God, My All, My Inheritance, and My Joy in
time and in eternity. Amen.

Friday in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, fountain of eternal life, consume my heart with the burning fire with which
Yours is aflame. Pour down on my soul those graces which flow from Your love. Let my heart be united
with Yours. Let my will be conformed to Yours in all things. May Your Will be the rule of all my desires
and actions. Amen.

Saturday in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The brief Total Consecration formula is used in place of the ordinary consecration prayer. The Flos
Carmeli is sung after Lauds and the Tota Pulchra after lunch.
