PRODIGY
Some individuals are born with a natural ability to learn. For them any career or path is followed easily, quickly
learning all the techniques needed to become fabulous in it.
Creating a Prodigy
This template is an inherited template that can be added to any creature with Intelligence score of 10 or more
(referred to hereafter as the "base creature"). It uses all the base creature's statistics and special abilities except as
noted here.
Size and Type
Same as base creature.
Hit Dice
Hit dice does not change.
Speed, Armor Class, Attack and special attacks
Same as base creature.

Special Qualities
All prodigy has all the special qualities of the base creature, plus:
Able learner. At first level he can pick one skill, and can choose another one on each new level or HD he gain.
The chosen skill become a class skill for him. And he receives 4 adicional skill points at first level and one for
each hit dice he gain after.
Talented. The prodigy receives one additional feat at first level, and one for each hit dice that he gain.
In addition he gains one of the following abilities for every 4 HD or fraction thereof:
Arcane Prowess. If the prodigy is a arcane caster that learn spells, it receive one additional spell known for level
in that class, or two if both are not from the maximum level of spell he can cast. It’s effects stacks with itself and
other similar abilities.
Fast learner. He can learn, create or copy spells at one half the normal time.
Lore. He gain the ability similar to the bard lore, and his level for that ability is the same as his hit dice. If he
already has this ability he receives +2 on it.
Calm. He can always choose 10 on any knowledge skill or concentration check.
Mastery. He gain half his level in competence bonus to a single skill chosen, and can change the base ability of it
to intelligence if it’s higher.
Weapon familiarity. He can choose as a bonus feat the weapon proficiency, or exotic weapon proficiency for
each four hit dice it possess.
Early learner. He could learn any spell that he could have known by his intelligence score, even if he doesn't
already has the proper level on his arcane class. He can only cast the spell if he has a slot available in the proper
level or higher, gained by a high intelligent score, and to cast it he always has to pass a spellcraft check with CD
20 + the level of the spell + the number of times he is casting it on that day (+1 if it’s the first time on the day, +2
if is the second time and so on). He can only learn a spell in that way when he gain a class level, trading two spells
known of the proper level gained when level up, to pick a spell one level higher than his maximum spell level, or
four for one spell of two levels high, and so on.
Intuitive learning. If the prodigy has a class that earn special abilities [as rogue (talents), witch (hexes), ranger
(traps), wizard and alchemist (discoveries), paladin (mercies), and so on], he can choose a new ability from his list
as a bonus.
Abilities
Increase from the base creature as follows: Int +4.
Skills
A prodigy receives +1 competency bonus on all skills.

4 HD or less, as base creature +1; 5 HD to 10 HD, as base creature +2; 11 HD or more, as base creature +3.

Advancement
Same as the base creature, but for him all classes are favored.
Level Adjustment
4 HD or less, as base creature +1; 5 HD to 10 HD, as base creature +2; 11 HD or more, as base creature +3.
