AMOUNT NEEDED : Php 15, 000.00


SOURCE OF FUND : 10% SK FUND

RATIONALE:
Section 13, Article II of the constitution, declares that, “The state recognizes the vital
role of the youth in nation building and shall promote their physical, mental, moral,
spiritual, and social well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and
nationalism, and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs.”

Section 30 of RA 10742 also known as the Sanguniang Kabataan Reform Act of


2015, mandates the Annual conduct of Linggo ng Kabataan in every barangay,
municipality, and province with this year’s theme: “YOUTH ENGAGEMENT FOR
GLOBAL ACTION.

Amid COVID-19 pandemic, the Local Government Unit of Tagoloan through the
Local Youth Development Office continues its mandate to actively engage the youth
in nation building by working closely with the Sangguniang Kabataan and the Local
Youth Development Council in the Municipality.

The Linggo ng kabataan aims to celebrate the youth in the Municipality of Tagoloan
and to provide an avenue for them to develop artistic, leadership, sports and talents.

For this year’s observance of the Linggo ng Kabataan, adheres to the Minimum
Public Health Standards set by the Department of Health (DOH) as a peremptory
health requirement for the community’s safety.

OBJECTIVES:
 To provide an avenue where the youth can develop their talents in culture, arts
and sports.
 To provide equal opportunity where youth leadership could be further empowered
through various activities, trainings and exposure.
 To create a pool of talents from the grassroots level particularly from the
barangays and schools, to further develop discovered talents in the future.
 To promote camaraderie among SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN in the barangay
and other youth organizations.
BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:
20 pax X 150 Lunch meal -3,000.00
20 pax X 150 Dinner meal -3,000.00
20 pax X 50 A.M Snacks -1,000.00
20 pax X 50 P.M Snacks -1,000.00
20 pax X 200 advocacy shirt -4,000.00
3 Participants X 1,000.00 stipend -3,000.00
TOTAL = Php 15,000.00
