Exercise 2. Match the words on the left with their definitions on the right. Write the letters in the parenthesis.

the contamination of air, water and soil by different materials that interfere with human

Exercise 4. I want you analyze how many times you and your family have been part of the problem of pollution in your
neighborhood. Don’t forget to use the previous vocabulary.

A. Does your neighborhood have any pollution problems? Make a list

B. What do you think is the most significant problem of pollution in your neighborhood? Why?
C. the one with the garbage in the corners because people use them as garbage cans, giving off a bad smell and bringing
rats and cockroaches

E. Have you contributed with this pollution problem in your neighborhood? Were you aware of that?
No, in fact me and my family also recycle what can be recycled and we keep the garbage in our house until it is the day
of garbage collection
F. It’s time to help your community, be creative and realistic to recommend some possible ways of solving the pollution
problems your neighborhood has.

You’re going to start the video or the poster with the English part, you´re going to introduce yourself with long sentences (name
and last name, age, grade, hometown, the main reason to be studying environmental monitoring) and finish this part, explaining
how you would implement your best idea to help your community to solve the pollution problem. I’LL CHECK YOUR
