APPLICABLE TO AFFILIATES WHO ARE CURRENTLY REQUIRED TO PAY THE FULL ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION (129GBP IN 2020)

Extended leave subscription


You may qualify for an extended leave subscription if you earn less than 10,000 GBP, and you are not in active employment by being in
one of the following categories:
• are raising a family full-time or are a full-time carer;
• have re-entered full-time education;
• are experiencing long-term unemployment;
• are suffering a prolonged illness that’s prevented you from seeking employment;
• have left accountancy to pursue a religious vocation.

Covid-19 support
To support members and future members during Covid-19, for 2020, we have temporarily increased the annual earned income
threshold from 6,000 GBP to 10,000 GBP. To qualify you must not be in active employment as a direct result of Covid-19 and your 2020
annual subscription will be reduced to 58 GBP.

DECLARATION
I confirm that my subscription fee is not being paid by my employer
In order to confirm your eligibility for a reduced subscription, you are also required to submit documentary evidence to ACCA.

I will notify ACCA if I earn in excess of 10,000GBP or return to employment in 2020 and I understand that I may be asked to resume
paying the full subscription.
(An applicant who is in any doubt as to his/her eligibility to pay a reduced subscription should provide further information on his/her
circumstances on the reverse of this form.)

The simplest and quickest way to make a credit/debit card payment to ACCA is online via myACCA. You will receive immediate
acknowledgement that your payment has been received by ACCA.
DATA PROTECTION
We may use your personal data for the purposes of membership administration and training requirements, sending you publications and other
communications, responding to enquiries investigating complaints and complying with our regulatory obligations.

You can update your information through your myACCA account at any time. We may share information with our suppliers and our auditors. We
may also share information with other IFAC member bodies and employers.

Please note that for individuals based outside the UK, your information will be held in ACCA’s main information systems which are located in the
EU and may be accessed by ACCA’s local office in your country of residence. ACCA processes information within the EU, but may also transfer
data outside of the EU as part of its operations and service delivery.
