Technology has a dramatic effect on our lives and, especially, on the way we perceive business.
A usual smartphone is not just a videophone today since it is also a payment provider which
helps companies to monetize products through such services as Spotify, Uber (or any other of
taxi market) and etc. Moreover, nowadays everyone can become a blogger and start earning
money on YouTube or set up their own market, so digitalization also has led to creating a new
type of entrepreneur. In addition, it has broadened the access to sharing economy as we can be,
for instance, a landlord and offer someone a room for renting, or we can work as a freelancer due
to existing apps for this activity. Inventing such a device as a smartphone changed the game and
alleviated doing business because now we have a supercomputer in our pocket.
