To activate RE-FX in SAP R/3 Enterprise, the steps are: 1) Go to SPRO and activate the Real Estate Extension. 2) If the 'BTE Application (RE) Active' option is not selected, go to SM30 and activate the RE extension in table TBE11, then return to select the 'Extension Active' option. 3) Go to SFW5 and activate the required business functions for RE-FX. Activation cannot be reversed except by restoring the system to an earlier point in time.

How to activate RE-FX

628208 - Procedures for activating RE Extension in SAP R/3 Enterprise

1. Go to SPRO -> Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) -> Basic Settings -> Activate Real Estate Extension

2. If ‘BTE Application (RE) Active’ is not ticked, go to SM30 and edit table TBE11, set RE to active. Then go back and
tick Extension Active.
3. Go to SFW5 and activate the following business functions

4. Activation is one way, and business functions cannot be deactivated. The only way to undo is to restore system
to earlier point in time.
5. Activation job will be scheduled in the background. Once completed, check again in SFW5.
