How to get There
The Beer Museum can be accessed by the "Loop 88
Factory Line" bus that stops among other places at
Odori Station and in front of Seibu department store
near Sapporo Station. Alternatively, it is a 20 to 30
minute walk from Sapporo Station.

Take the Subway Tozai Line to its western terminus


Miyanosawa Station. From there, the Shiroi Koibito Park
is a 5 to 10 minute walk.
Susukino Station is one stop from Odori Station and two
stops from Sapporo Station on the Subway Nanboku
Line.

1. By Bus: It takes about 40 minutes, leaves every hour,
400 Yen. Take Asahikawa Denki Kido Bus for Asahiyama
Zoo at Bus Stop No.5 in front of Asahikawa Denki Kido

The market is held a few steps from JR Hakodate
Station.

The Motomachi district is situated at the foot of Mount


Hakodate, and easily accessed from JR Hakodate
Station in a 5 minute tram ride or 20-30 minute walk.
Canal City Hakata is a 10-15 minute walk from either Hakata Station
or Tenjin Station.

The Momochi area can be reached in a 15-20 minute


bus ride from Tenjin or Fukuoka Station, or in a 15-20
minute walk from Nishijin or Fujisaki subway station
(Kuko Line).
The Peace Park is located several kilometers north of
the city center in Urakami. It is most easily accessed by
tram line 1 or 3 in ten minutes from JR Nagasaki
Station. The park is a short walk from
"Matsuyamamachi" or "Hamaguchimachi" tram stop.

Take tram number 1 to "Dejima" tram stop.

Nagasaki's Chinatown is a short walk from the


"Tsukimachi" tram stop on the tram lines 1 and 5.
By train and ferry

From JR Hiroshima Station, take the JR Sanyo Line to


Miyajimaguchi Station (25 minutes, 400 yen one way,
covered by the Japan Rail Pass). Alternatively, you can
take tram line number 2 from central Hiroshima bound
for Miyajimaguchi. The tram is slower, but costs only
270 yen one way (not covered by the Japan Rail Pass).

From Miyajimaguchi Station, it is a short walk to the


ferry pier, from where ferries depart frequently for
Miyajima. The ferry ride takes 10 minutes and cost 170
yen one way. There are two competing ferry
companies: JR and Matsudai. The Japan Rail Pass is
valid on JR ferries.

1) Take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto to Kizu (35 minutes


by rapid train)
2) Take the JR Kansai Line from Kizu to Kamo (5
minutes)
3) Continue along the JR Kansai Line from Kamo to Iga-
Ueno (35 minutes)
4) Take the Iga Tetsudo Iga Line from Iga-Ueno to Ueno-
shi (5 minutes)

The whole trip with transfers takes about two hours and
costs 1360 yen (1110 yen for the JR part and 250 yen
for the Iga Tetsudo part).
