GUIDE TO ENTRY MOVEMENT BOOK


I. On Arrival
a. xxxx : OHN to E/R
b. xxxx : All bridge & navigation equipment checked & tested, found in good order (POK.105 complied with)
c. xxxx : Time synchronized with E/R and telegraph tested
d. xxxx : Master on Bridge / BWL-2 (Bridge Watch Level-2)
e. xxxx : Engine Ready to maneuver (POK. 119 complied with)
f. xxxx : Master took over bridge conning from OOW
g. xxxx : EOSV and change over steering Auto to Hand Steering / Echo Sounder ON
h. xxxx : Engine test astern
 Proceed to Anchorage
- xxxx : Call anchor station
- xxxx : Anchor station ready
- xxxx : Port / Stbd anchor stby for let go
- xxxx : Let go Port / Stbd anchor
- xxxx : Anchor brought up, Port or Stbd anchor with XX shackles O/D or I/W
- xxxx : FWE and Master hand over to OOW / Echo Sounder OFF
 Proceed to Berth
- xxxx : POB
- xxxx : Master/Pilot exchange v/v and Pilot card completed (POK. 114, 115, 116 complied with)
- xxxx : Call Fwd & Aft mooring stations
- xxxx : F & A stations standby / add Officer + lookout on bridge (BWL-3)
- xxxx : Fwd or Aft tug line made fasted (tug name)
- xxxx : First line a shore (Fwd head/breast/spring line or Aft stern/breast/spring line)
- xxxx : Vessel in position
- xxxx : Fwd / Aft tug lines off
- xxxx : All made fasted / FWE / Pilot Off / BNWAS “OFF” / Echo Sounder OFF
Vessel Port or Stbd side alongside with lines F & A: 3 X 2 X 2 (UKC: XX mtr)
II. Whilst Shifting from Anchorage to Berth
a. xxxx : OHN to E/R
b. xxxx : All bridge & navigation equipment checked and tested, found in good order (POK. 105 complied with)
c. xxxx : Time synchronized with E/R and telegraph tested
d. xxxx : M/E tested ahead & astern, found in good order
e. xxxx : Engine ready
f. xxxx : Master on bridge / BWL-2 and call anchor station / Echo Sounder ON
g. xxxx : SBE / Master took over command from OOW (POK. 106 complied with)
h. xxxx : Commence Heave Up Port or Stbd anchor
i. xxxx : Anchor aweigh  Continued with procedures Proceed to Berth
III. On Departure from Berth
a. xxxx : OHN to E/R and BNWAS “ON”
b. xxxx : All Bridge & Nav. Equipment checked and tested, found in good order (POK. 103 complied with)
c. xxxx : Time synchronized with E/R and telegraph tested
d. xxxx : Steering gear tested, found in good order / Echo Sounder ON
e. xxxx : Engine test ahead and astern, found in good order
f. xxxx : Engine ready (POK. 117 complied with)
g. xxxx : Master on Bridge / SBE / Master took over bridge command
h. xxxx : Call Fwd & Aft mooring stations
i. xxxx : F & A station standby / add Officer + lookout on bridge (BWL-3)
j. xxxx : POB (Pilot Name)
k. xxxx : Master/Pilot exchange v/v and pilot card completed (POK. 114, 115, 116 complied with)
l. xxxx : Fwd tug line made fasted (tug name) / Aft tug line made fasted
m. xxxx : Commenced unmooring / single up
n. xxxx : Vessel casted off berth / Heave up anchor (if use anchor till anchor aweigh)
o. xxxx : Anchor aweigh
p. xxxx : Fwd / Aft tug line off
q. xxxx : Pilot Away / All mooring lines secured / anchor secured and Fwd & Aft stations dismissed
r. xxxx : FAOP, Master Hand Over bridge conning to OOW / Echo Sounder OFF
s. xxxx : Change over steering from Hand steering to Auto / BWL-1
IV. On Departure from Anchorage w/out Pilot  See III. On Departure from Berth (item: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, n, o, r, s)
