Sage UBS Payroll Pay Slip Customization.

A) Launch Sage UBS Payroll > Select Company > Select payroll module.

B) From the Company > Click on 1st Half Payroll / 2nd Half payroll > Print Pay slip > Select the format
you would want to customize > Click on OK

C) Click on Preview to find out the report destination and name.

C:\ubspay90\testing_company\prpsy.frx

• The destination of report is C:\ubspay90\testing_company\prpsy.frx and PRPSY.FRX is the


report file.
• Usually customized reports will be saved under the company payroll directory (in this scenario,
my customized report is in my testing company directory). And the default reports formats are
always stored at C:\UBSPAY90\reports

D) To customize an existing report from the company directory, click on Customize.

• A report designer page will pop out.


• From the report designer page > Right Click > Select data environment to extract information
from the database.

E) EIS column is found on “ptr” called as “EISWW(EMPLOYEE)”/ “EISCC(EMPLOYER)” from data
environment > To have the EIS details on the current format of pay slip, you will need to drag the
field to report designer.

• Once you have pulled the “eisww”/”eiscc” field to report designer > from the top menu click
on Report > Insert Control > Label.

• A field on the page header will be available for you to type a message > type the EIS description
that you want to appear as and drag the label field next to “eisww , eiscc”

• From there drag the column to adjust the alignment.

Employee Employer

• Once you have done the alignment > Right click > Print Preview before saving the report.

• If you have happy with the alignment > Click on “X” to cancel > will be diverted to the report designer
page > Click on File > Save as > Choose UBSPAY90 > Select the company directory > Save.

• Its always recommended to save the customized report in the company directory in order to save the
default formats under C:\UBSPAY90\Reports.
• This method is applicable for all formats of pay slips / report from Sage Payroll.
