OUTLINE OF FACILITATE LEARNING SESSIONS

(A 30-minute presentation)

PREPARATIONS: (5-10 minutes)

 Training facilities ( 9 Learning Stations)


 LCD Projector
 Screen
 Audio Speaker
 Training Activity Matrix
 Achievement Chart
 Progress Chart

PRE-LUDE:

 Greet the panel of all your preparation you’ve done;


 Start your demonstration (face your trainees disregard the panel);
 Check the OH & S of your venue;
 Roll Call (Attendance);
 Conduct a Pre-Test;
 Give Feed Back (Based on the Pre-Test Result);
 Group the trainees based on your Training Activity Matrix (TAM) and what learning stations they are
assigned to;
 Explain the Monitoring tools – (Achievement and Progress Chart);
 Explain the 9 Learning Stations; (Tour your trainees in your workshop/laboratory)
 Distribution of CBLM based on what Unit of competency they are assigned to;
 Brief explanation of the parts of CBLM;

TRAINING SESSION using THE POWER POINT PRESENTATION:

 Orientation on 10 Principles of Competency-Based Training (CBT) & Explain 3 Principles only;


 Brief presentation on the Roles of Trainee and Trainer;
 A Power Point Presentation based on your LO in Plan Training Session with Video presentation to support
your topic but limit your presentation since everything is in your CBLM;

DEMONSTRATION OF SKILLS: (TURN-OFF YOUR LAPTOP and PROJECTOR):

 Demonstration of skills (Trainer will perform the demonstration based on the chosen Job sheet or Task
sheet)
 Return Demo (trainees’ activity – give time to the trainees to practice);
 Monitor the Achievement/Progress Chart based on the performance of your Trainee and ask if he/she is
ready to perform the Institutional Assessment then provide Self-Assessment Guide (SAG);
 Inform the trainee what are the methods of assessment and the specific time;
 Conduct the Institutional Assessment;
 Give feedback and let your trainee sign the rating sheets;
 Administer a Post Test (70% passing);
 Provide Training Session Evaluation Sheet to your trainee to evaluate the Trainer and the Training;
 Final instruction for National Assessment; and
 Parting words.
