DATA:
Data is a collection of raw facts and figures. It is without any proper meaning. Data may be
collection of word, numbers, graphics or sounds. Data is represented with the help of characters
like alphabets (A-Z, a-z), digits (0-9) or special characters (+, -, /, *, <,>, =) etc.

INFORMATION:
The processed data is called information. When raw facts and figures are processed and arranged
in some order then they become information. Information has proper meanings. Information is
useful in decision-making.

ALU perform all the arithmetic and logical operations on the data. It consists of two units.
1: Arithmetic section
2: Logic section
1: ALRITHMETIC SECTION:
ALU perform arithmetic operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division (+, -, *,
/).

2: LOGIC SECTION:
The logical unit of ALU performs logical operations such as comparison of tow numbers. It tells
as which numbers is greater and which is smaller. The common comparisons such as less than,
equal to, or greater than are performed by the logical unit (<,>=, <=,>=).

2. Any business organization can use computers for marketing their products.

information on the internet.

and books.
6. People can find any types of information on the computer.
7. The skills can be taught at any time at any place.
8. Computer controlled robots are used to assemble cars. These system work faster than
human beings.
9. Computer aided design or CAD use to design the products with the help of computer.
10. Computer are being used to diagnose with help of software.
