Numero Ansi Ieee Relays

This document provides an overview of standard device numbers used to identify protective relays in North America. It lists 99 different device numbers (numbers 1-99) along with their associated protective functions. For example, device number 21 is assigned to distance relays, number 27 is for undervoltage relays, and number 87 is for differential protective relays. Letters are sometimes added to specify applications, such as bus, field, ground, or transformer.
