Healthy lifestyle is now a new trend that continues to be encouraged so that people become
aware of the importance of health. No less the Ministry of Health also promoted the Healthy
Life Society Movement (GERMAS). The problem is how to live a healthy life?
Healthy life behavior is indeed very important to maintain health. Likewise, disease
prevention is highly dependent on individual behavior in daily life which of course must be
supported by environmental quality, availability of facilities and infrastructure and so forth.
This is the focus of the government to encourage people to behave in healthy lives. So this
time the National Health Day was themed "Indonesia Cinta Sehat". For that it is not wrong if
in the last few years I have been so concerned with health issues. This is none other than
because I want to live healthy, hope I can live longer of course.
What is the pleasure of living a long life but often sick? Abundant wealth can not be enjoyed
as if the owner is often in and out of the hospital. That is why many people consider that
healthy is expensive. In fact, on the contrary, pain is expensive. Abundant wealth seemed
unable to pay for the needs of all its treatments. Therefore it is important for us to take
precautions early before illness.
This is because many diseases actually stem from a bad lifestyle from ourselves. This pattern
of life is formed from repetitive daily activities so that it becomes a habit. If these bad habits
are continuously carried out, then various dangerous diseases such as cancer, diabetes, and
even heart attacks will be very easy to attack us.
There are some healthy lifestyle tips that we can do. I got this information from health
experts when I attended the National Seminar at the Ministry of Health a few days ago.
Curious how to live a healthy life? Here are some steps to get to a healthy lifestyle that we
need to know about, including:
Hmmm, that's what I do every time I attend various events. I always try to take the
opportunity to get a health check at the Health booth.
It is certainly a happiness to see that the results of health tests are normal. Especially
considering I have a family offspring who have high blood sugar and cholesterol
levels. So I tried to keep what happened in my family from happening to me.
The question is, do we exercise often? Or is it that our daily activities are dominated by
sitting typing in front of a computer all day without any physical activity? Actually there
are many types of exercise that can help us to maintain a healthy body. For example:
jogging, gymnastics, casual bikes, and so on. Choose a fun activity as a healthy physical
activity. I myself lately prefer to do sports on foot or gymnastics, especially gymnastics
for Osteoporosis and Diabetes Gymnastics. For me gymnastics is more fun as my daily
physical activity. The important thing is that sports activities are measured and organized.
5. Manage stress
Going to work every morning and going home at night certainly makes stress
unavoidable, especially when work in the office piles up. If we cannot manage stress
well this kind of condition will very easily cause depression.
To manage stress there are actually many ways we can do. For example we try to take
free time to relax, yoga, meditation, or even undergoing a hobby that is rarely done
lately because of busy work.
Ideally, health experts recommend that we get enough sleep in a day. Getting enough
rest is the key to getting a healthy body and mind. Therefore, from now on try to have
enough sleep habits. This is because our body needs the right to rest to restore energy.
In addition to sufficient sleep, try to sleep and wake up at the same time every day.
This is very important so that the body is better prepared for when to rest and when to
work.
Basically our body consists of more than 80% fluid. Lack of fluids can cause
dehydration that results in illness. Before the body is sick, it is better to replenish
body fluids by increasing the consumption of water.
A study at Chicago University proves that someone who consumes enough drinking
needs, they have a better immune system than those who rarely consume it. Thus,
water can increase the body's immunity against disease.
