Installation
Extract the ZIP-File to your X-Plane11\Aircrafts directory.

Bind these keys!

1. Yoke switch for AP-DISC. Command: HMB/SR22/AP/YokeToggle. You’ll find it here:

2. Parking Brake:

3. Pitch Trim Up and Down (default XPlane Commands)

Do NOT bind a Prop-Axis!!!

This is very important. The SR22 does not have a Prop-Lever. Engine may get out of control
if you have a prop axis assigned!

Do you have hardware pedals with toebrakes?

In case that you do not have rudder pedals with toebrakes, open the Settings-App on the
tablet and set “Nosewheel Steering” to ON - otherwise to OFF!

First Flight (Quick and dirty)

These steps are the quickest way to get you in the air and on the ground again. Please note:
Reference the checklists in the MFD for detailed procedures.

1. Open the Weight’n Balance App on your tablet. Remove all outside elements
(Tiedowns, Covers, Chocks,...)
2. Set your desired fuel and payload. Take care of the CG.
3. Remove the CAPS cover right above your head and pull the
“Remove-Before-Flight” pin.
4. Open the Energy App on your Tablet and make sure the batteries are full. If needed,
recharge them.
5. Make sure all Circuit Breakers are pushed in (we want no red)
6. Turn on Bat 1, Bat 2 and the Avionics
7. Enter a flightplan or use the CoreFlight App on your Tablet to send a flightplan via
bluetooth to your G1000.
8. Are you in Icing-Conditions? If yes, open the Maintenance-App on your tablet and
select Ground-De-Ice.
9. Strobes and Nav-Lights on
10. Turn on the Fuel Boost Pump
11. Mixture Lever full forward
12. Throttle full forward
13. Fuel Pump Boost
14. Throttle ¼ inch open
15. Turn the Starter key to Ignition
16. Pull back the throttle to 1000 RPM and lean the engine.
17. Turn on Alternator 1 and 2
18. Turn on Pitot heat if required
19. Trim for takeoff! (the elevator trim indicator can be found on the yoke handle). The
aircraft is NEVER trimmed for takeoff by default!

20. Set your transponder code

21. Set your initial altitude in the autopilot
22. Turn on the Airconditioning.
23. Set the Temperature selector to ¾ hot and set the ventilation to 2 or 3. If it’s very
cold outside, you may set the ventilation to a higher value.
24. Put on your headset (Button on tablet, or click on the headset on the right seat)
25. While now taxiing to the runway, set Flaps 50%
26. When entering the runway, Landing Lights on, Transponder to Altitude.
27. Mixture full forward
28. Throttle full forward
29. Rotate smoothly when passing 77 kts IAS.
30. When passing 90 kts Flaps up
31. Turn the autopilot on and engage NAV to make the aircraft follow your route.
32. Lean the engine to stay with the fuel flow in the green area. Keeping the power
greater than 100% is perfectly fine.
33. During cruise retard the throttle to 30.5 manifold pressure. This should give you
around 85% power. Also lean the engine to achieve minimum fuel flow
34. In case that you get a MAN PRESSURE warning, reduce the throttle and lean the
engine!
35. During descent reduce to between 55 and 70% power
36. During approach Mixture full forward, F uel Boost Pump on
37. When slower than 110 kts IAS, Flaps 50%
38. When slower than 95 kts IAS, Flaps 100%
39. Touchdown between 80 and 85 kts IAS.
40. Taxi to your stand
41. Reduce Throttle to minimum 1000 RPM.
42. Turn off the Avionics
43. Starter-Key to off, Mixture cutoff, Throttle retard completely
44. All switches off.

Some words about Icing Conditions

The SR22 comes with TKS and is FIKI-Approved (Flight into known Icing). Icing conditions
are: Temperatures between 0 and -20°C in combination with moisture. Whenever you think
that you are flying into Icing Conditions, turn on Anti-Ice. Always make sure that you are
equipped with enough TKS-Fluid before starting your flight.
Note: TKS is only efficient between 70 and 170ktas. If you are on ground and your aircraft
has picked up ice, open the Maintenance-App and perform a Ground-De-Icing. This will give
you a limited amount of time where your SR22 does not accumulate ice.

What weather addon should I use with the SR22T?

It’s up to you. Every weather addon has it advantages and disadvantages.
If you use….
● xEnviro: Select XPLANE as weather source in the options
● Active Sky XP: Select ASXP as weather source in the options. You will also have
the live weather map available as APP on the tablet
● FSGRW: We do not support this - Select NOAA as weather source in the options
● Default Xplane Weather: Select XPLANE as weather source in the options.
Our opinon? Use Active Sky XP. This is only a recommendation for this aircraft.

Flying online with the SR22T

The SR22T was made for online flying.
Picking Frequencies quickly:

Press “COM” and then “MENU”.

Use the “Blue knob” to choose a controller from the list, thereafter click ENT. The selected
frequency is now in the standby position of your COM radio.
Click the Frequency-Switch button to set it to active.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

My engine won’t start

First check the circuit breaker panel. Nothing red? Then check if your batteries are charged.
Before turning the key, you must set mixture and throttle full forward. If that does not help,
your engine might be damaged. Go to the Maintenance App on the tablet and repair
everything. Thereafter click the Garage Button and perform a D-Check. If your displays stay
black, your batteries may be empty. Recharge them at the Energy-App or connect the GPU.

How do I remove the Cover/Shield/Tiedowns/Chocks?

At the Weight’n Balance App at the Tablet.

Why does the Fuel Boost Pump stop after some seconds?
The G6 is equipped with a relais that prevents the engine from flooding. This is normal.

My aircraft starts spinning and I crash

You probably flew in Icing Conditions and stalled the aircraft. Make sure to utilize the Anti-Ice
System when flying in visible moisture.

How do I put on/off my headset?

Click the Headset-Icon on your tablet.

I always get a MBUS1/2 or ESS BUS warning. What to do?

Make sure that your engine is always running at least at 1000 RPM. Also check your circuit
breaker panel or the Maintenance App on the Tablet.
I have turned off the hypoxia effect in X-Plane, but I still get hypoxia
when flying the SR22T - Why?
This is a simulation. Make sure to turn on oxygen when prompted by the CAS. Also verify
you have enough oxygen on board before flight. You can not turn this off.

I always hear a freezing Pilot sound. Why?

You are getting cold. Turn the ventilation at least to level 2 and the temperature to ¾ hot.
Depending on the OAT heating up the cabin can take a bit. You can check the felt
temperature at the HMB Health App on the Tablet.

I got a birdstrike. Why? Can I turn that off?

Congratulations! This is very rare. And no - you can’t turn it off. If you want to be 100% sure
to not hit a bird, check the Birdwatch-App on the Tablet. Surrounding airports will send
vicinity bird reports to that App every 10 minutes. If a flock of birds is for example in your
departure sector, you might either select a different departure or wait ~10min until they
moved.

The VSD does not show the terrain for my complete flight
That’s a X-Plane limitation - sorry.

The VSD does not show my approach / constraints

Again an X-Plane limitation - We can not access user entered altitudes sadly. What you can
do is hitting the Visualize-Softkey and select your approach manually do get a visual
representation of the waypoints and there altitude constraints (if there are any)

Does the MFD show Charts?

No. You can use the AviTab App (seperate free plugin) on your tablet.

How do I engage/disengage the Yaw-Damper?

You can’t (except by pulling the Yaw-Servo circuit breaker). The Yaw-Damper is
engaged/disengaged automatically 200ft AGL.

What is ESP and how do I disable it?

ESP means Electronic Stability & Protection. It is enabled by default and will help you
keeping the aircraft stable when exceeding the recommended limits. However, you can
counteract ESP with yoke inputs, or disable it completely by pulling the AP Servos circuit
breaker, or by pressing the AP Disc switch on the yoke while ESP kicks in. Note: ESP is only
active while handflying the aircraft (Autopilot disengaged).

I tuned an ILS -Frequency via the Controller list but the aircraft does not
intercept the localizer
Fresh tuned frequencies are always tuned in standby position. Flip the frequency to active.

I selected an ATC from the list but the frequency does not get changed
You must flip the new frequency from standby to active position.

What does the Power Value mean?

The power value is the percentage of horsepower (315hp) that your engine produces. It’s
influenced by several factors like Throttle, Mixture, Altitude, OAT.

What does the LVL button on the Autopilot do?

By pressing the LVL button, the autopilot gets engaged (if not already), and your aircraft will
keep pitch and roll 0°.

How do I enter altitude constraints in my Flightplan?

Press the FMS Knob, turn the outer FMS Knob until you are in the constraint field of the
given waypoint, turn the inner FMS Knob to dial in the altitude, press ENT.
