Purpose
This Mobile Site Management Plan (MSMP) is
prepared by BAM to detail the standard MSMS
processes that must be implemented on all BAM
projects.

The purpose is to ensure that the Project

Manager and Project Delivery Team are informed
of, and equipped to deliver, BAM’s minimum
standards.

Goals:
• Fully documented, compliant quality and
safety processes
• Faster recording and resolution of issues

when BAM require a subcontractor to
resolve a problem on site.

When an Issue is raised on the system

the subcontractor will receive a
notification by email.

The MSMS shall be used for the following

Issue types:

• Quality Issues
• Safety Issues

Equipment & Permits

The Equipment section of the MSMS is used for 3 main processes:

• Permits to Work.

• Managing Construction Plant and Equipment.

• Managing Assets & Maintainable Items (Installed Equipment)

Permits and equipment can be

associated with a QR code or barcode
Permits
A ‘Permit to work’
system can be
generated and
managed through the
MSMS.

The most commonly

used is the Hot-works
permit.
Construction & Plant Equipment

This is equipment that is used only in

the construction activities of the project
Although they are considered temporary they still require close monitoring and management to
ensure they are always well maintained and safe to operate via regular inspection.

Examples of such equipment would be: Forklift trucks, hoists, tower cranes all the way down to fire
extinguishers, temporary lighting, even step-ladders etc.
Installed Equipment

This is equipment that is an integral

part of the completed project
Examples of such equipment would be: Air Handling Units, Chillers, LV Switch panel, Lifts,
Escalators, all the way down to radiators, Automatically Opening Vents etc.
Measuring Success

Reports are used to enhance the project delivery team’s ability

to effectively manage the project construction process

Reports can also be set up for personal preferences, to assist

in managing activities, issues and checklists

Additionally the reports allow the data to be used and

represented to show ‘trends’ in operations that can
strategically be acted upon to create more efficient
construction solutions.
