IELTS TASK 1 WRITING- Tips and tricks

1. Structure
● Rewrite the information- try to look at alternatives for each part of the sentence
● Overall trends- no numbers and very basic
o It is immediately apparent
o Overall the graph
2. Identify trends
● Try to group or sub group e.g. 10-15 million produced ,15-25 25-50
● Each paragraph should be talking about one grouping e.g. products most consumed by
America vs products most consumed by European countries
o Most commonly vs least common
o Biggest differences vs most commonalities
