My name is Ron, and I'm with the team that supports Oracle's JDBC drivers.
I've been asked to have a look at this SR.
I've also reviewed the original (closed) SR 3-21311629751.
Looking at the uploaded PDF file, the challenge here is that the file doesn't provide any evidence that Oracle's JDBC driver is what's failing (or
that it's even being used). The entire snippet is specific solely to IBM. In fact, the snippet provided in that email doesn't contain an exception
stack at all.
Any errors involving Oracle's JDBC driver will always include an exception stack that includes a java.sql.SQLException; and a JDBC error
message; and as well as a stack involving calls that begin with oracle.jdbc.
That's what we need to see here to be able to troubleshoot further.

2 queries:
1. distributed_lock_timeout, we can check at oracle DB level. Please confirm which all places we need to check the other 2 settings viz. global
transaction timeout and session timeout. If in database, please confirm how?
2. distributed_lock_timeout is suggested to be increased to 600 in your earlier post. Please provide the reason for arriving at this value of 600
instead of current value of 200.

No we are not using weblogic.
Application team using simple Java code to check the 2 phase commit.
Inside the code they are invoking MQAPI to perform both MQ 8.0.0.8 and oracle DB (12.2.0.1.0) operation
Intermittently the problem is appearing while executing the code,
And one thing let me know iwhile raising the SR i have choosen product version as 12.2.0.1.0 but now its showing 18.0.0.0 .0 why?

Application team ran the two phase commit sample java code at their end we dont have the access to ran the code ,now no one is available
from appliacation team to check that,monday morning IST 7AM onwards they will be available.
Now we have to update to IBM Mq team why they are getting the below error logs in their lMQ og:

So please provide us some understanding on why MQ support team getting below errors on their logs so that that we can revert to MQ team,
as MQ team is saying "Oracle was not able to prepare transaction"?

Application team is doing two phase commit and they are getting issue intemittently.
Mr Hemant oracle support engineer asked certain query outputs we have executed them on both the nodes and the result was "no rows
selected" for every statement.
