a) What are some of the important reasons a research project will fail to make an adequate contribution to
the solution of management problems?
b) How the interval scale is more sophisticated than the rest of the scale? justify

c) You are curious about whether the professor and students at your school are of different political
persuasions. So, you take a sample of 20 professors and 20 students drawn randomly from each
population. You find that 10 professors say they are conservative while only 6 students claim they are
conservative. Is this statistically significant difference?
