Meesho is YC and Facebook backed, Series D funded growth stage company (More here:
https://techcrunch.com/2019/08/11/meesho-india/). The Series D round was led by Naspers and existing
investors SAIF, Sequoia, Shunwei Capital, RPS and Venture Highway participating as well. Facebook
also participated in the round, so did Arun Sarin, former CEO of Vodafone Group. We have raised $190

and other social networks by offering them tools around sourcing, logistics and payments. Driving scale

As a Senior Software Engineer, we expect you to be motivated in solving real-life complex problems and

Key Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with teams to develop and support the smooth 24x7 operation of our service

● Create prototypes and proof-of-concepts for iterative development

● Keenness to learn new technologies and apply the knowledge in production systems

● Reduce technical debt with quality coding


Technical Requirements:

● Strong knowledge of any of the databases like MySQL, NoSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL

● Experience in Java and web technologies

● Experience in scripting language like Python, PHP etc.

● Hands-on experience with systems that are asynchronous, RESTful and demand concurrency

● Knowledge of best software engineering practices for all stages of software development life cycle,
including coding standards, code reviews, testing and deployment

Experience: 3-6 years
