Hydra Rig is aware that some 6-series injectors have exhibited shifting in the chain tension
idler shafts. Damage to the injector can occur if the shift is too extreme or if an injector
continues to run under this condition. Hydra Rig now understands the root cause of the
idler shaft shifting and is completing the steps necessary to be sure the shafts stay in
position. A PSB will be issued with the details of the correction process soon.

All 6-series injectors in the field need to have the chain tension shaft positions checked
before and after every job. If the shafts are found to be off center or shifting, contact Hydra
Rig Field service at the phone and fax numbers above or by email at the addresses below.
