OVER ALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 Pre-commissioning and Commissioning of all equipment’s and machineries in plant.
 Having good experience in field operation during start up and emergency safe shutdown.
 Safe running of the plant without violating SOP & safety procedures.
 Coordinating with maintenance departments for Commissioning, preventive and breakdown maintenance.
 Achieve the target production with design specific consumption.
 Preparation for confined space entry inside reactors, pressure Vessels, columns for maintenance,
preparation of hydrocarbon lines for carrying out hot jobs etc.,
 Attend plant emergencies.
 Overall responsibility of the plant during shift hours.
 Monitoring of plant parameters for efficient and optimum operation of plant,
 Execution/ monitoring of plant start-ups and shutdown.
 Continuously monitor the process parameters to avoid the unwanted downtime
 Work permit system handling like HOT WORK, COLD WORK, HIGHT WORK & CONFINED SPACE
 Preparation for confined space entry inside reactors, pressure Vessels, releasing columns for maintenance
jobs
 Pumps and Other operations like pressure, Temperature, level and Flow monitoring its normality and
abnormality and take the correct decision
 Having Experience in Tank form operation and utilities.
 Safe, continuous and reliable operation of the plants, ensure all environmental parameters are met with,
report all unsafe acts and near miss incidents to curb down the lost time accidents.

PRE-COMMISSIONING & COMMISSIONING RESPONSIBILITIES


 Review of the Plant PFD, P&ID, Equipment Data Sheet & Operating Manuals
 Final Clearance of Piping Loops & Equipment’s.
 Inspection and Checklist laid on Pipe Lines & Equipment’s as per procedure
 Carry out safety audits and preparing deviation reports
 Function testing of the control valves (LCV, FCV etc.)
 Motor Running Test for Pumps, Compressor, Air fin cooler. (MRT)
 Carry out various Recommissioning activities such as Hydro Test, Water Flushing, Air Blowing, Drying, Card
Board Blasting, System Leak Test, Chemical cleaning and Steam Blowing.
 Utilities charging inside battery Limit like Fuel gas, Fuel oil, Flushing oil, Flare, Cooling Water, Utility Water,
Nitrogen, Plant air etc.
 Dealing with routine monitoring of the technical aspects of plant operations: process pre-commissioning,
commissioning, start-up and normal running.
 Completely involved in all Pre-commissioning and Commissioning
 Successfully commissioned process units CDU, DCU, SRU and Gas Plant.
 Preparing Line checklist, Blind list and blind diagram for commissioning.
FIRE AND SAFETY TRAINING
 First Aid

 Safety and Fire fighting

 H2S Awareness Training.

 Familiar with Fire & Gas detection system, fire hydrants and monitors.

 Completion BASIC FIRE FIGHTING at safety zone

 Completion of AUTHORISED GAS TESTING at safety zone

SAFETY KNOWLEDGE
 Issuing work permit like General work permit, hot work permit, confined space entry work permit.

 Performing tool box talk at work location.

 Ensuring operations activities at the facilities are performed in accordance with established Company

Quality procedures, HSE Codes and standards and recognized industry standards.

 Usage and handling of all types of fire extinguishers.

 Act as area authority for PTW system at the assigned location.

 Ensuring PTW system is followed and all safety regulations are adhered.

 Handling of firefighting equipment’s like water monitors, Mobil foaming equipment’s &

Personal Protective Equipment’s

 Preparing Job Safety Analysis & Risk Assessment for the pre-commissioning and Commissioning
Activities.
