Device Management Utilities User Manual:-

This manual helps you to manage all push data devices for URL
configuration, a part of connectivity with our cloud based attendance &
payroll software.

Supporting Devices – All Push data devices like: X-990, U Face 602, X628 etc

How to use device management utility

1. Open the device exe – the below page will be available


2. Select device:-select the device based on the model. Available
devices are, X990, I-FACE series, U- FACE, Other except k-series.

3. Communication with Device: - select the communication type of the


device based on the connection type TCP/IP.

4. Based on the connection type, fill the details. i.e.:- for TCP/IP
connection, enter the IP address of the device and establish the
connection, once the device is connected device current status will be
changed from disconnected to connect.

5. Get or Set options for the connected device:- Once the device is
connected the details which you want to fetch from device can be
obtained using Get options, the options which you need to set in device
can be done through Set options.

a) Select the get options-select the device (select the command)-click


on get, selected detail will be obtained from the device.

b) Select the set options-select the device (select the command)-enter


the value which need to be set-click on set, the entered value will be
set in device.

For Ex:- After Create the company in the cloud.

1 > Connect the device using this Device management Utility > Go to
Set Option

2> Server IP/URL Mode - Enable

3> Server IP/URL - www.so365.in/"your Company name")


4>DNS IP- 8.8.8.8
Device management Utilities is used for through LAN we can Get and set the
below details and its support 32 bit and 64bit windows operating systems.

Step 7: we can get Device IP address
Step 8: we get Device subnet mask information

Step 10: we Get Device DNS IP Information
Step 11: we Get Device DHCP {Enable or disable}
Step 12: we get Device, Device ID
Step 13: we Get Device Communication Key
Step 14: We Get from Device ADMS/push Function (Enable)
Step 15: We Get from Device Server URL Mode (enable or Disable) information

Step 6: We can set Device ID in Device
Step 7: We can set Communication Key in Device
Step 8: We can set ADMS/push Function (Enable) in Device
Step 9: We can set Server URL Mode (enable or Disable) in Device
Step 10: We can set Server IP\URL Mode in Device
Step 11: We can set Server port number in Device
Step 12: We can set Time zone Adjustment in Device
Step 13: We can set Proxy Server (Enable or Disable) in Device
Step 14: We can set Proxy Server IP in Device
Step 15: We can set Proxy Server Port Number in Device.
Step 16: We can set User PIN in Device.
