LIGHT STABILIZER
CHISORB 519
Ultraviolet light stabilizer for polymers
General Chisorb 519 is a steric, monomeric hindered amine light stabilizer. The increment of
color yield for pigmented polyolefins is the main characteristics of Chisorb 519
which is superior to that of other commercialized HALS. Due to its specific structure
with high molecular weight, Chisorb 519 exhibits outstanding light stability, low
volatility, high migration and extraction resistance as well as excellent anti-gas fading
properties for the protection of various polymers like PP, styrenic resins etc. Chisorb
519 also acts an effective antioxidant and, in addition, gives significantly long-term
heat stability to polyolefins.
