Transformers 4: Age of Extinction

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction is a motion picture about robots that turn into dinosaurs and weapons
that enable humans to explode, freeze, and burst into flames simultaneously. Released in June 24, 2014,
the science fiction adventure is the sequel to the box office hit Transformers. All tell about robots
(Autobots) that try to protect the Earth from the antagonist Decepticon robots (Megatrons).

The movie begins with Cade Yeager (Mark Walberg), a Texan inventor who always collects scrap and
then turns it into mini-robots. He discovers a dusty battered truck, caked in plaster to be salvaged inside
an old cinema. Cade sees potential in it and spends his lasts few dollars on the truck which turns out to
be a Transformer. Transformers seem to be meaningless and useless but later historians find that they
had more value a hundred years ago.

Michael Bay, the movie director, is openly positioning his movie – his entire method and aesthetics – as
the only hope for cinema’s survival in the era of the box set and video games. In addition to dinobots,
another new type of Transformers, that can dissolve into a swarm of pixels and then resume their
physical form, he develops seriously impressive special effects. Also, the fierce battle between Autobots
and Decepticons in the third act is relocated to Hong Kong.

Situation: Melissa is reading a movie review about Transformers 4: Age of Extinction when Arinda is
coming.

Arinda : Do you have plans for this weekend?

Melissa: Uhmmm… I think so. What about you? You look so happy.

Arinda : Yes. I want to go somewhere to relax but I don’t have any ideas for this weekend.

Melissa: What about watching Transformers 4: Age of Extinction at Century theatre? It should be great.

Arinda : That’s a good idea. Who is the director?

Melissa: Ouuu, the director is Michael Bay, I amaze how he used his competence to make this film,
Amazing!

Arinda : And what is the movie about?


Melissa: it’s about robot! And it can turn into a dinosaurs form. Exploding, freeze, and burst into
flames anything is so easily for it. The main storyline is some kind robots called as Autobots protect
the Earth from all of bad robot called as Decepticon.

Arinda : It is a new movie.

Melissa: No! it’s been 6 years when its released precisely in June 24, 2014.

Arinda : It must be a science-fiction movie.

Melissa: Yes! of course it’s a Sci-Fi movie cause all of the story contain Science related things. Such as,
Robot, Space, Alien and etc.

Arinda : Let’s go now, Mel. I can’t wait.

Melissa: But you have to wait until tomorrow at 3 P.M.

Arinda : What? I thought we’ll go right away.

Melissa: Calm down. The second show starts at % P.M. and it is now 2 P.M. We can’t make it on time.

Arinda : So, what are we going to do right now?

Merry Riana is a woman writer, young entrepreneur, and motivator


who is successful and successful in achieving her career.

The success story of his life, he tells in a film called “Merry Riana: A
Million Dollar Dream. The film was adapted from his own book of the
same title.

This film visualizes how he struggled to survive the difficulties of life


he faced, until finally he managed to achieve success.

Evaluation

The riots that occurred in May 1998 in Jakarta and other major cities
in Indonesian regions made a Merry Riana forced to go and flee to
Singapore.

Merry Riana’s father decided to send her daughter to Singapore,


citing fear of seeing the unsafe condition.

Then Merry Riana left alone armed with just enough money to buy
food for five days. Luckily, he met a friend of mine named Irene.
Irene is her best friend who also wants to continue her studies at a
university in Singapore.

With this help from his best friend, Merry was finally able to live in a
dormitory and be accepted at one of the best colleges there.

However, all of that could only be Merry if he had paid money of $


40,000. Until finally, the only hope he had was, by taking student
loans that could only be obtained if Merry had a guarantor.
Then, Merry met with one of his seniors named Alva. Alva is a very
calculating person, he gives all kinds of conditions before finally
agreeing to help Merry.

He also told Merry to look for a part-time job, and Merry realized that
he had to succeed as soon as possible. He does all kinds of work,
from spreading online business brochures, to playing high-risk
stocks.

The economic condition also fluctuates. The chaos of love ensued


when Alva expressed her feelings for him, while Merry knew very
well that Irene was in love with Alva.

Interpretation

The acting of a Chelsea Islan who played the role of Merry Riana in
this film is very good. He is able to play his role as Merry Riana very
well. However, this film will be even better and more positive if there
is no kissing scene in it.

Summary

I think this is a very inspiring film, a film that can motivate people to
succeed at a young age. This certainly brings positive enthusiasm for
young people in Indonesia. The script writer in this film has also
succeeded in bringing together a number of conflicts that make the
storyline more lively.
