Project Title: Culminating Activity

Date of Activity: March 24, 2012
Venue: Roof Deck
Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm

Rationale:

The culminating activity is designed to increase and test the confidence,

leadership and cooperation within the group. In addition, it aims to see and improve
their organizing capabilities and discover the students’ talent and skills. It will also help
the students to cherish their memories when they were in the community.

Description:

In a system, every single element has an important part in order for it to work
properly. In relation to this idea, this culminating activity will help the student, as a
member of the group, to be more responsible and dedicated in doing the tasks not just
for his/her own sake but for the sake of the whole group. This event will shape him/her
to build trust and have strong relationships with the other members; it will also help the
student practice on handling assigned tasks, time and group pressures, for him/her to
become a reliable leader in the near future.

Furthermore, the said event will help the student to be more confident about
his/her talent by showing it to other people. Through this 5-6 minute presentation, the
student will have a good chance to showcase his/her talents maybe in acting, singing,
dancing, etc. On the other hand, the 2-3 minute AVP will allow those who are gifted in
video editing and video production to show off their skills.

Lastly, this fun and entertaining affair will be done as a reward for the students
for their hard work and dedication in fulfilling this project/requirement.

Objectives

1. To help the student be responsible as a group member;

2. To enhance the student’s capability and initiative to solve organizational
problems;
3. To help the student be more open-minded in accepting opinions, comments
and insights from other members;
4. To boost the student’s confidence in showcasing his/her talent;
5. To build trust and strong relationships inside the group.
