Philippine National Police Academy is offering a four-year scholarship grants

to cadets (all expenses-paid scholarship) striving for the degree of Bachelor of


Science in Public Safety. Cadets are considered government scholars who
are not only studying but also undergoing rigid training for four years to
include summer trainings( i.e. Special Counter Operation Unit Training
(SCOUT), Close Quarter Battle (CQB), Police Intervention Course) and
seminars etc.  Cadets are receiving monthly pay and allowances amounting to
Php 35,000.00 which is equivalent of a salary of an SPO4 or Police Executive
Master Sergeant (PEMS). 

All applicants who successfully passed the rigid screening and processing will
be admitted in the Cadetship Program as First year cadets (or as PNPA
formally addressed them as Fouth class cadets) regardless of educational
background/earned Eligibilities or In service Trainings(No accreditation of any
awards or other finished Collegiate Courses or Baccalaureate Degrees).

The PNPA Cadet Admission Test is conducted yearly usually every last
Sunday of October or in the first week of November, however due to
pandemic the PNPA revised its exam date. The submission of application
starts on December 2020 until January 31, 2021. 

PNPACAT passers will undergo series of screening which is the 2nd Phase of
Processing. The 2nd phase, conducted every first quarter of the year
(January-March), has TWO PARTS: First Part is the Psychological,
Psychiatric Examination with interview or PPE every January; Published by
March, the List of Passers of PPE will undergo the Part Two of 2nd Phase
which will be done from March to April: Medical Exams(GPE, Drug Test,
EENT, Laboratory Test, Ishihara, ECG), Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Final
Panel Interview; Submission of Documentary Requirements to the Office of
the Registrar. PPE, GPE, Dental and Medical/Physical/Laboratory
examinations are free of charge/no fees to be paid by the applicants.
However, some applicants, particularly those with Dental Compliance (i.e.
surgery for impacted tooth, dental cleaning, tooth extraction/filling) or other
Medical compliance/clearances, will shoulder the expenses to consult with the
private physicians and/or clinics or hospitals. During the 2nd phase of
processing, the room accommodation or rentals nearby the processing areas
and daily meals will also be part of the applicant’s personal expenses.
 

4. List of Passers of the 2nd phase will be joining the Oath taking Ceremony
and Reception Rites May or earlier);

5. The 45 days Breaking Period or Cadet Orientation Period (From May to


Mid-week of June);

6. Incorporation Rites (June after Breaking period);

7. Recognition Rites (January);

8. Graduation Rites (March or First week of April);

 
All applications will be generated in a weekly basis starting December to
January and
ONLY applications  with completed input data and attachments-(PSA
Birth Certificate, Medical Certificate on BMI, & Passport Size ID picture)
will be approve and names will be publish every  Monday at the PNPA
Website: www.pnpa.edu.ph
All incomplete application/s and or data of applicants will be deleted
from the system every after publication and will be treated as NEW
application for the next application cycle of the incoming week.

Notice of Examination (NOE) with indicated Test Center will be sent to


your account you provided starting December 2020 and likewise
appears & ready downloadable at PNPA website.

There are 18,000 confirmed applicants who submitted their application


and as of now the PNPA is still accepting applicants until January 31,
2021.
PNPA EXAM DATE: MARCH 7, 2021(Sunday)

Before hitting the [APPLY BUTTON] check the following:


1. Is my internet connection strong & stable;

2. Have an existing email account, preferably Gmail account;

3. Are my documents (PSA Birth Certificate, PNPA Medical Certificate


measuring BMI & Passport size ID picture) for uploads in JPEG or PNG
file already;

4. Are each of these files not more than 15mb;

5. For easy access on the application system, am I using a desktop or


laptop  and NOT a smartphone;

6. Have I watch all Application Videos of PNPCAT and understood


them;

7. Check myself, have I fully READ & UNDERSTAND all published


instructions & qualification standards first before proceeding in every
step of the online application.

HOW TO APPLY?
For now, application through mail or any courier is not applicable;
however, PNPA has announced through their Facebook page that they
will go online. 
PNPA Online application will be open on DECEMBER 2020.
Applicants must secure the following online basic requirements:

a) Must have a personal email account –


ex: juandelacruz@gmail.com or juandelacruz@yahoo.com

b) Scanned copies of your Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO) in PDF format

c) PNPA Medical Certificate Form

d) Passport Size Picture (in white background with nametag) in JPEG or


PNG file at maximum 15mb per file size.

THIS THE PROCEDURE BEFORE 2021


HOW TO APPLY:

1. Get a copy of either OLD or NEW PNPACAT application forms. Applicants


may download application form at www.pnpa.edu.ph. The two page
application form should be printed through either A4 size or long bond papers.
Applicant may print the application form in two separate pages or in a back to
back hard copy. The printed/downloaded application forms are not for SALE
but can be reproduced or photocopied for distribution;

2. Fill out the application form either through typewritten/encoded or


handwritten entries. Entries should be legible and clear with no “super
impositions” or erasures. Incomplete entries on the application form are
ground for disqualification such as:

a) In complete address or no address;

b) No signature, no birth date;

c) Digitally edited/completely enhanced (filtered) pictures through photo-shop


which completely different to the actual facial features of the applicant or no
passport size photo attached on the space provided for; and

d) any other errors noted by the PNPA Registrar.

3. Applicants may submit application forms personally at PNPA SILANG


CAVITE or through snail mail (POSTAL) or express mails : LBC,TO GO, GRS
Express, Etc. The application form should be sent to the address indicated on
the LETTER HEAD of the application form or to the Office of the Registrar as
follows:

4. For those applicants from Visayas, Mindanao or from other far-flung


provinces, please check it with the personnel of the mailing companies or
agencies if your application forms will reach PNPA Silang, Cavite on the
deadline set for submission (Deadline: Every last Friday of September). PNPA
will also consider the same period or days in sending NOTICES or PERMIT to
take the examination to your respective addresses indicated on your
application forms;

5. NO DOCUMENTS to be submitted/attached with the application form


EXCEPT FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

a) White window envelope (can be bought in all school/office supplies or


bookstores); 

b) Postal stamps either special or regular amount (available at your post office
co-located with your city hall); and

c) Passport size picture with name tag and with white background (NO
EYEGLASSES AND WITHOUT HEAD GEARS);
 

6. Qualified applicants for PNPACAT will be receiving NOTICES or PERMIT


to take the exam ((PNPACAT) from last week of September to October. The
PNPA Registrar will send these notices on the addresses indicated on the
submitted application forms. In case the applicants failed to receive notices or
permit to take the exam from PNPA Registrar, he/she may check his/her
name at PNPA website. If his/her name is included in the list of qualified
examinees posted at the said website, he/she can proceed directly at the
examination center or venue and should bring at least two valid IDs (latest) on
the day of examination;

7. All qualified applicants must bring five pieces of 1X1 and 2X2 pictures with
white background, PENCILS no 2, rubber erasers, black pen (not sign pen)
and at least two valid IDs on the day of examination;

VALID IDs are the following:

a) Latest School ID with Picture (not Library ID);

b) Driver’s License;

c) PRC ID;

d) Voter’s ID;

e) Employee’s ID;

f) SSS/GSIS ID with picture;

g) Philhealth ID with picture;and


h) Postal ID with picture.

8. Subject covered/areas in the PNPACAT to qualify for the next phase of


screening. Thus, those examinees who have garnered the highest scores but
failed in one of the subjects covered/areas in the exam might not be
considered in the next phase of screening.

READ: PNP RECRUITMENT PROCESS

9. Applicants should wear proper attire during the PNPACAT: SHIRTS (ANY
COLOR) and MAONG PANTS/SLACKS (ANY COLOR).Female applicants
may wear skirts (not too skimpy) or dress. Strictly no sando, no shorts, no
slippers/flip flops or sandals;

10. There will be NO EXEMPTIONS granted to Honor Students in taking up


the PNPACAT. Only Children of those recepient of Medal of Valor Award are
exempted from PNPACAT.

11. Initial qualification for Admission (as indicated on the second page


of the application form). Please do not apply if you are not qualified.

a. Natural born Filipino citizen;

b. Of good moral character;

c. Male or female, single and with no parental and financial obligation;

d. 18 to 22 years old at the time of admission ( May 1, 2020);

e. Height of at least 162.5 cm (5ft 4in) for male, and 157.5cm (5ft 2 in) for
female;

Disqualified-Overage and underage applicants;

 
COVERAGE OF EXAM

Communication Arts and Skills;

Math and Sciences;

General Information and Current Events;

Nota Bene: Examinee should get passing scores/rate in each subject


covered/areas in the PNPACAT to qualify for the next phase of screening.
Thus, those examinees who have garnered the highest scores but failed in
one of the subjects covered/areas in the exam might not be considered in the
next phase of screening.
