Trust yourself:
Sure, on paper. But how much did I trust my decisions,
then second guess them, then trust them again—only to crumble again moments later. And then committing to trusting those same decisions more deeply...only to be thrown in a spin the next time I was faced with a sliver of criticism. Trust is far from a constant for me. Everybody feels like this. Thus, not “duh.” Feel yourself: Some days, hell yeah. Other days, GTFO. Please yourself: I’ve never really thought about how “pleased” I was with myself—or not. Oops. Hear yourself: Huh? Know yourself: I’ve got this one down, I think. Insofar that I know all I am is a bunch of (sometimes contradictory) stories I’ve told myself, albeit with some very staunch do’s and don’ts. Fuck yourself: Daily. Love yourself: I’m doing my best here. Thank you for your patience. Please hold the line.
