STRAP 2012 & BEAMD 2012

Dear Ir. Tai,

There was a request from Freddie for the installation of Strap 2012 under your license. As such it
would be more appropriate that I send this email to you so that you can forward it to him since
there were no direct request from you to send the PER file to him.

Installation of STRAP &  BEAMD 2012:

Please follow the below instructions to install the latest versions.

1. Create a new directory named STRAP 2012CD in C: drive.

2. Download the STRAP program CD from the following link in to the above directory and
unzip it.
 

              http://atir.com/dealers/atir_cd_installation_2012.zip

3. Copy the above attached PER zipped file into C:\ STRAP 2012CD\PERdirectory and


unzip it overwriting all existing files and copy this PER folderto the C: directory.

4. Go to C:\STRAP 2012CD directory and double click on setup.exe file

5. Click on Install STRAP 2012 and choose the option Install full STRAP version
(requires a lock)  which will open the Personalization files dialogue box. Click OK and in
the Strap Setup dialogue box, rename the defaultinstallation
folder C:\Strap1\ to C:\STRAP 2012\ . By doing so, your old STRAP version will remain
intact.

6. For installing BEAMD 2012, go to C:\STRAP 2012CD directory and double click


on setup.exe file

7. Click on Install BEAMD 2012 and choose the option Install full BEAMD version
(requires a lock) )  which will open the Personalization files dialogue box. Click OK and in
the Beamd Setup dialogue box, rename the default installation
folder C:\Beamd\ to C:\Beamd 2012\ . By doing so,your old Beamd version will remain
intact.

 
Contents of the directory C:\STRAP 2012CD can be copied to CD/DVD to install the latest
programs on other machines & to be kept for your records.
