WORK EXPERIENCE
Major Duties
To assist the Programme Director and Departmental Officer providing secretarial support for
postgraduate programmes, specifically:
1. Admissions
To provide a high level of support for the postgraduate admissions process, including; acting as
the first point of contact for initial enquiries, providing advice and support to applicants
throughout the admissions process, ensuring the quick and accurate processing of applications to
the university department adnimistration, assisting the Programme Director and Departmental
Officer with marketing and promotional activities, representing the Department at School and
University admissions events, and liaising with the Postgraduate Admissions Office,
Accommodation Office and International Office as necessary.
2. Programme Delivery
To provide support to the Programme Directors and the Departmental Officer for all aspects of
programme delivery including the production of timetables, preparation of the programme
handbooks, preparation of module materials, organising module and programme evaluation,
making exam arrangements, progress chasing on continuous assessment, and producing results
and transcripts.
3. Information Management
To maintain the database of postgraduate student information including personal details and the
academic record.
To maintain the students’ manual file including application material, references and results.
To record feedback and evaluation data
To produce statistical information on past and present students as required.
Duty Responsibilities
To plans and coordinates activities related thematic mandates on human rights focusing on
equality and non-discrimination and other thematic issues in the context of Garedo
Humanitarian organization for including integrating a gender perspective in lower Shebelle
region of Somalia.
To Conducts substantive research and analysis of human rights issues/events and assesses
their impact on the human rights situation in lower Shebelle region of Somalia.
To Collects and analyses human rights data and indicators in country/regions of assignment,
including gender-specific data and indicators.
To Ensures human rights issues, including their gender equality dimensions considerations,
are integrated into political, humanitarian and economic efforts and programme.
To Defines work plan for area assigned in accordance with established terms of reference.
To Represents UN human rights programme at working level meetings.
To write a variety of reports, communications, briefings, statements, etc., including to
policy making bodies.
2018-2019: I was a human resource officer at Savannah university in Somalia, and I am responsible
for the office of HRM in the University, Mogadishu-Somalia and partially lecturer at the
faculties of social science and health departments.
2018-2019: Garedo Humanitarian organization.
Head of Health department, Tasked to deliver and transfer the health facilities to local and
IDPs in the camps in Somalia and specially the susceptible children under five years who were
suffer from severe malnutrition.
2019-2020: Currently: I am a human resource officer at Savannah university in Somalia, and I am
responsible for the office of HRM in the University, Mogadishu-Somalia and partially lecturer
at the faculties of social science and health departments.
2013-2014: Assistant Professor, department of health Medicine in the College of Savannah University,
Main task was teaching health subjects to undergraduate medical students in the faculty.
And assisting the academic department, All teaching and assessment strategies were
designed, implemented, analyzed and reported for these courses to the faculty dean.

Medical College and a school of Nursing along with private Hospitals which offer internship
training to the students, As an administrator of student training and supervising the working
at field sites.
