Vision Mission Charter
1. Consultancy service in Engineering Geology is raison-d’etre of the Firm. Services will be mainly in
civil works of irrigation, hydroelectric projects, underground caverns and tunnels, nuclear projects,
marine works, highways and railways, bridges, slope stability studies and landslides.
2. Undertake design of structures pertain to irrigation, hydroelectric projects, underground caverns and
tunnels etc.; Provide pre-bid advisory for projects facilitating bidding; prepare Detailed Project
Report for large engineering projects; Provide technical assistance in project construction and
monitoring.
3. Undertakes Geophysical studies, field tests and laboratory tests to know engineering properties of
rock and soils and terrain characteristics. Explores through collaboration, the fields of Ground
water, Mining, Mineral sector and Remote Sensing.
4. Assess and evaluate rock mass classification and characterization of terrain and ascertain
requirement of support systems.
5. Assess post construction problems require re-engineering, dam rehabilitation aspects and other
related issues.
6. Arrange basic geological mapping on different scales, survey of terrain using different methods
such as, Theodolite or Total Station etc.
Mission
1. Provide quality services to large engineering projects on par with international standards with
professional and pecuniary integrity, keeping up with the latest technologies and methodologies.
2. Endeavors to provide authentic geoscientific information to clients and facilitate policy makers to
take informed decision-making and enable use of engineering geological information for
sustainable socio-economic development.
3. Provide services by qualified persons under the guidance of experienced people. To endeavor to
get the work done successfully, meet agreed terms & conditions, maintain transparency, so that the
clients will be assured the best services possible at fair and reasonable expenses.
4. The Firm is open for entry of senior, experienced and/or unemployed and talented young
geoscientists to enroll and empanel themselves as ‘Consultants’ in the Firm rolls at free of cost.
The free enrolment may be made by making necessary entries in the Firm’s website by individuals.
As and when work arises, their services can be utilized but, under the guidance and supervision of
the Firm. This may facilitate to provide respectable employment to many senior, experienced and/or
unemployed or under-employed youth having relevant qualification in the fields of geosciences,
stationed in different faraway places of the country. The exercise, it is opined, not only meets the
social obligation to provide employment opportunities to a few deserving persons but also, help to
enhance its ground strength.
