You are about to learn the secret to one of the mind-blowing effects from SWADLING MAGIC. Each Changing Card is hand-crafted to the highest standard and quality expected from Swadling Magic and is inspected by Bob Swadling himself. Although each of these effects are outstanding by themselves, each one existing trick that may . Without a doubt THE EFFECT Blank Card to Full Card:> « blank card is shown front and back. VISUALLY, in MID-AIR it prints, both front back to match the selected card. Face Change:- a card is shown front and back and thrown into the air. As it comes down it CHANGES its face in MID-AIR to match the selected card, Back and Face Change:- a Red Back / Red Face card is shown and thrown into the air. VISUALLY it CHANGES MID-AIR to a Blue Back / Black Face card, matching the selected card. THE APPARATUS 1, One Swadling Changing Card for each effect purchased. Now turn the page to learn an exciting new magic break-through. PREPARATION Open the card like a book, Fold RH card behind LH ea Hold card tightly shut with rubber concealed. Sa) Say BASIC CARD HANDLING Hold the prepared card in your RH with the back of the card facing towards the audience. (Make sure that you conceal the rubber between your RH index finger and thumb, holding the card tightly shut.) Adjust fingers so that you d between band second ng the rubber. Clip the card between thi ex finger and second concealing the rubber. Pl your RH thumb behind the card, resting it on the back of the card. Rotate the card away from you. (In example it is the Five of Diamonds.) When the spectator states that this was not his/her chosen card, rotate the card as described in figs 5 to 7. FACE CHANGE ROUT 1, Prepare card as described in figs. A to C in the preparation. 2. Place prepared card in pocket, wallet, envelope or place under a wine bottle or any object that will keep the card folded and hide the rubber. 3. Force a card that matches the INSIDE card when the card is folded. In our example we will use the Three of Clubs. 4. Ask the spectator to place the selected card on the le back uppermost, without looking at the card. Tell the spectator that the card you placed under the wine bottle or in your pocket is your prediction card and that it will match his/her selected card. 5. Take the folded card from underneath the wine bottle or from your pocket (making sure that you conceal the rubber between your RH index finger and thumb, holding the card tightly shut). 6, Follow figs 1 to 9 (Basic Card Handling). BACK AND FACE CHANGE ROUTINE 1. Prepare card as described in figs A to C in the preparation. 2. Take a deck with the backs the opposite colour to the back of your Changing Card when folded. (For our example we shall use a Red Back/Red Face card when folded and a Blue Back deck) 3. Place the prepared Changing Card face down on the bottom of the deck, with the rubber facing to the right. 4. Force a card that matches the INSIDE card when the card is folded. 5. Ask the spectator to place the selected card face down on the table. 6. Cut the deck of cards, bringing the Changing Card somewhere in the middle of the deck. 7. Tell the spectator that you can change the colour of one of the cards. As you run through the deck stop at the Changing Card, In our example this is a Red Back card, 8, Remove the Red Backed Changing Card from the deck keeping the rubber concealed between your RH index finger and thumb. Show the face of the card to the audience, explaining that this card is your prediction card and will match his/her selected card, 9. When the spectator turns over his/her card and states it doesn't match, follow figs 1 to 9 (Basic Card Handling.) BLANK CARD TO FULL CARD ROUTINE I. Prepare card as deseribed in figs A to C in the preparation, so that the outside card is now Blank on both ides. the 2. After completing your normal routine, cut the Changing Card to the top of the deck, and hold in your RH concealing the rubber between your RH index finger and thumb. Follow figs 1 to 9 (Basic Card Handling) Tell the spectator that this is how you print cards in mid-air as you throw the card into the air. Then place the Changing Card on the bottom of the nudist deck. Let it fall as you release all the cards to complete the printing of all the cards. THE SWADLING CHANGING CARDS Blank Card to Full Card: A Blank Card is shown front and back. Its thrown into the air. VISUALLY, in MID-AIR, it PRINTS a card both front and back, matching the selected card. Face Change: A card is shown both front and back and thrown into the air. As the card comes down it CHANGES its face in MID-AIR to match the selected card. Back and Face Change: A Red Back/Red Face card is shown and thrown into the air. VISUALLY it CHANGES MID-AIR to a Blue Back/Black Face card that matches a selected card.
