AIMS:
 To make English fun
 To be able to speak about houses and items related to houses.
 To consolidate students’ vocabulary.

SPECIFIC COMPETENCES:

LEAD IN Frontal 3 min


Aims:

To introduce the topic of the lesson.


To check the accomplishment of given instruction
Procedure:

1. Conversation
2. Explanation
3. Exposure
The teacher tells the students that they are going to revise a previous
lesson. In order to introduce the topic, the teacher write mixed letters
of the word “HOUSE” on the table and the students are supposed to
find the title of the lesson “MY HOUSE”. Also, the teacher writes the
date on the table and asks the students to write the date and the title of
the lesson in their notebooks.

Activity 1 Frontal 15 min


Aims:
Individual
To revise elementary vocabulary on the given topic.

To check the accomplishment of give instruction.

Procedure:
The teacher draws on the blackboard a sketch of a house and asks the
students to identify the components of the house. (roof, chimney,
wall, window, door).
The teacher will play a song on Youtube (Roomba Roomba Room)
and will ask the students to pay attention to it.

After listening to the song, on the same sketch, the teacher will
continue to draw the inside of the house and asks the students to
identify the rooms in the house (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living
room, attic)
The students will receive some handouts in which they have to
match the words with the pictures.

Activity 2 Individual 18 min
Aims: (group
To revise specific vocabulary work)
To check the accomplishment of given instruction.

Procedure:
The students will receive a handout on which is drawn a house. The
teacher has 16 envelopes with flashcards (objects in the house) and
each student on every row will receive a different envelope. There are
four envelopes for each room. The students have to identify the room
in which they put the objects from the envelope. In each envelope, an
object will not match the same room like the others.

Feedback Individual 2 min


The teacher will give each student a post-it. They will have to draw
and colour a green balloon if they liked the activity or a red one if the
didn’t like it.
