INTRODUCTION

“Broken Family affects Student Behavior”

This a very informative record to those dad and mom who wish to now not use their children
as a weapon to discredit the different or to get at the other father or mother for only
egocentric reasons. How can the children be covered from that so that their lives are no
longer as disturbed as feasible ?
It is believed that only mothers can appear after younger children. Poor tutorial overall
performance in national examinations have been attributed to many factors that are primarily
household primarily based such as those that are faced with changing hard financial instances
which has made it no longer viable for them to meet their duties of making sure a healthy and
literate family.
The measurement of the family in which the infant grows particularly if the family does now
not have sufficient resources will affect the infant boom and improvement due to lack of
satisfactory feeding, lack of proper clinical care, and greater so a infant will not be given the
required attention on his/her tutorial work which can make him/her lose focus.
The difficulty of homework, fee of college fees, imparting safety is all inside the confines of
the family to furnish to the children. Family economic resources, which are related with
parent’s training attainment and occupation, frequently mean elevated getting to know
opportunities both at domestic and at school. In general, the socio-economic historical past of
the household influences negatively on the educational overall performance of the child.

As Green(2015) said, Separated parents really affected child’s development. Main
factors of broke family is divorce, which one that releases the marriage partners from
matrimonal obligations. Although babies or young children may negatively experience
problems such as inadequate feeling/shortcoming then teenager may experience problems in
their social, emotional and educational.
Through social, they want to seek attention but they suffer bullying or being bullied,
some may feelworry which affect their social interactions with others and activities. Through
emotional, after a divorce, some children show small amount of response because they bother
not to share up their negative feelings. Through educational, its hard to know what their
mindset develops.
According to Aktar (2013) “Introduction Background of the Study family is the smallest,
most sensitive and important social as a larger social system which is furnished and faciliated
by a society as a larger social system” . In other words, being broken young children suffers
the most painful because at their young age they are being “broke” at the first place, it takes
more advantage realizing why is my life like this? Is it my fault.? The answer is unexpected.
Grown ups lose happiness, it should be considered unfair especially accepting the fact that
they doesn’t have a complete family.
According to Manlapaz (2019) every child require a place “home” where they can gain
respect and attention they need. No one wants their family fall apart. Parent should support
their child’s dream to help them grow well, even the child know what he/she want kind of
love.
We are all aware that child can show or can say whatever they feel about their
behavior . They suffer from trauma: the short term and long term impact. They may also
undergo from deficient academics and emotional problems.

According to Spiegelman(1936) family in any situation can change every abilities of a


member regarding to the care they give to their children. Any circumstances which they
encounter, they need to be strong no matter what the result is. The parent should provide
parental guidance for the child’s sake. If someone feel conscious about their status, whose
uncomfortable need space.”There are two categories of single and married consort absent
which are seen to constituterespectively 25.7 percent and 11.2 percent of the broken families,

family they can be with? "Home" or "Family" are the every child needed. It gives security
and attention which they really need. They will be much affected seeing their home cracking
and breaking into pieces. Most of them don't tell how it feels like, they just keeping it inside
and facing it with their own self which may can affect to their behavior. According to
professionals "Parents should provide a solid parental support and other about to help their
child. It's very necessary for a child know that he is still wanted and loved" . Every people
needs an parental guidance or support by their parents it feels like you're in a good hands
every time. But what if there's no home they can use to be?
A Broken Family refers to parents who has been separated or a family that don't live
together as a families .It can describe as a "dangerous" type of separation because all the part
of the family will be affected especially to the children. It will have a big impact to them
because they're too innocent to experienced that kind of issues. Which is may cause them to
develop heavy and dark feelings like anxiety, depression ,anger which may can give their
reasons to revenge violently ,they may apply it upon their friends or the people around them
or they may tend to take illegal drugs and alcohol or do crimes because they have no family
to teach them what's right and the wrong doings.
They are experiencing a negative Developmental effects that includes to their social,
emotional and educational functioning .As a student to their school their performance at
school are most affected like struggling activities, projects and other tasks, hard to memorize
and focus or they may bully their schoolmates or may be they are the victim and skip their
class because they have no more interest to their class. At terms of socialization a child may
act aggressive behavior that may affect their relations with others. They have no interest to
communicate and to talk to the people around them which are hard for them to ask or search
positive social interactions and positive thoughts. As a teen it may affect to their mentality
they may have depression, anxiety and some issues connected with it. It may tend them to do
"suicide" thingy, because for them to suicide is the best answer to their problems and suicide
can end it. In the short term ,broken family leaves children struggling at their lives. Children
needs their parents cooperation to grow well. Separation leaves an ugly image and un wanted
stains on the children's lives. Research shows a large number of children face instability in
their lives. Children's witnessing their parents loosing love for each other.
INTERPRETATION OF DATA

The following shows the result of the survey we’ve given about a broken family.We demand
the opinion of some students.The table below shows the result.

The table 1 is about their age when their parents separate. It shows that the 3 respondents Age
when their parents separate is 9, while the 4 respondents age is 10, the other 2 age is 12, and
the other 3 age is 14, lastly the 3 respondents age is 16

The table 2 shows some reasons why their parents separate. The 2 Respondents says because
of Bad habits, while 2 Respondents says because of lack of communication, the other 3 says
because of Misunderstanding, then the 4 respondents is because of Third party, the other 2 is
because problem of each other family side, while the other 3 says because of Financial
proble, and lastly the 4 respondents says because of the Bad attitude.

The Table 3 shows the feelings of the respondents when their parents separate.We put some
possible or a common answers, they will just gonna pick one. The 10 of them pick sadness
equivalent to 50%, the other 4 pick Depress which is 20%, the 1 respondent pick Anger
which is 5%, lastly the other 5 pick Lonely which is 25%.

The Table 4 show the respondent's opinion of how it affect to their study when their parents
separate. The first 3 respondents says they got low grades, the other 3 says Lack of interest,
While the 2 says its hard for them to focus, the 5 respondents says it motivate them to study
more hard, the 2 says it push them to do rebel at school, Lastly the other 5 become more
stronger at their life.
METHODOLOGY

This chapter represents the research design, research participants, research instruments, data
collection procedure and data analysis used in the analysis and interpretation of data.

Research design
A qualitative used in this study to emphasize the process of naturalistic that seeks their
behavior which they are badly affected cause by their parents.

Research participants
Four participants were considered for this study. The participants of this study were from the
grade 10 students of a catholic School.

Being a junior high school students qualifies them as respondents of todays world, they are
the one who are being bullied in most of time, most of them letting themself to be bullied not
knowing what life they went through

Research instruments
As the researcher was the main data collection instrument the provided insight into this
phenomenon studied, increased experienced in interviewing and personal skill. However, the
participants are allowed to
have freedom and the interviews conducted based on their personal life.

Data gathering procedure

The researcher wants to capture their personal experience and deeper meanings from their
participants as they answer the questions of our survey of how their parents separated.

The figure shows how instruments used to validated. From constructing the question making
them easily to answer and understandable. After seeking potential participants the next step is
to prepare to compute the data which comes from the survey.
