The video discuss the impact of Covid-19 to the economy. According to the
video, the financial crisis were started with mortgages and banks. These years the
politics are seems to deal with financial crisis at the same time with people under
its power and authority. As the crisis are getting long the business are running out
of stock specially to manufacturing businesses. Business owners tend to think and
being imaginative about on how they will survive and what they should do in
order for their business survive. On the other hand the Cooperative Businesses
are on the top, they produce products and need a lot of workers than normal
because of high demand.
In the Philippines one of the most normal thing you see currently because of
Pandemic are close establishment and Businesses. The only Businesses running
in lockdown until now are those under cooperatives. For example fast-food
chains like Jollibee, McDonalds etc. Groceries where people can buy hygiene and
Covid-19 protection things (mask, face shield, alcohol) for example Puregold,
Sm Supermarket etc. As we all observed a big factor to people to buy a product is
for their need not wants, their priority is health so they don’t buy to other
business that leads to businesses to shut down.
What I’ve learn not only in the video and also in my experiences is that we don’t
have to seek for low prizes, all we need is to save and be productive in every
product we used so we don’t have to waste anything. And also if we really want
to success our business we need to think critically and be creative so that the
business will not only survive but also grow even in the middle of Pandemic.

Shopee, a company that was first launched in Singapore year 2015 and has expanded
in various parts of Southeast Asia for the past years to present. Shopee's first and
main mission is to provide better and easy life to consumers and small businesses by
the help of technology. Shopee aims to enhance it’s platform to deliver a seamless
and enjoyable shopping experience for all users without consuming a lot of time.
Shopee has a wide selection of product categories ranging from electronics, home
and living, health and beauty, baby and toys, and fitness and equipment. Customers
are also has classification depending on what kind of product they will purchase
including Men Apparel, Women Apparel and Children’s Apparel. Most of the
customers are looking for something new, affordable and easy transaction way of
online shopping and that is what Shopee offer.
How Shopee offer or market their products? Well according to my research and base
on my own experiences Shopee market their products in many ways: First, they
showing advertisement in many social media platforms for example Facebook,
YouTube etc. Next, putting big discount on to products. People tend to purchase by
thinking that its affordable and they can save money. Then, launching raffles. And
lastly, they giving their customers a promos and vouchers. OneOne of the most
unique market strategy of shopee is using celebrity and famous people and TV show
to promote their company for example in Celebrity, Kris Aquino, Jose Maria Chan
etc. And for TV shows, Eatbulaga and Wowowin. They also have a unique but good
jingle that everyone likes.
