: Traditional values are irrelevant to modern society?

We can see that in the last two-three decades, the role of traditional values has
changed a lot. In my opinion for modern society, traditional values are not so
relevant. In a world in constant evolution it’s hard for all to keep old principles and
not to adjust to the new reality.
Firstly, I think traditional values refer to our beliefs, habits and faith. These
are passed down from generation to generation but they are related to the age we are
living. For example, religius customs has changed a lot during the time. Even if most
of the people believe in God, they don’t go to church so often or they renounced of
certain rituals or religious practices.
Secondly, the decreasing role of traditional values are closely connected
with stressed life we are living day by day. We are living in a hurry, we don’t have
time to stay home with our family, holidays have lost their meaning and people
forgot about spiritual values.
In conclusion, I think traditional values are disregarded or considered
irrelevant by modern society.
