Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, what are the gaps encountered by the business as shown
in the video? How this innovation meets the gap?

Since the pandemic has begun, a huge number of establishment and businesses were
forcibly shutdown due to the lack of manpower. A lot of employees in a certain business lost its
job and cannot returned to its normal job. Based on the provided video, one of the gaps that
encountered by the business is the low income of the business. Moreover, its employees lost their
job due to the shortage of the company’s income, which results in lack of manpower in making
their business processes. Consequently, on the given video, it shows that Flippy, created by Miso
Robotics can do the human job such as cooking/flipping burgers, disinfection of items, and
serving the food to its customers. This clearly shows that the innovation meets the gap, it fills out
the lack of manpower in doing the human jobs and tasks. In addition, the showcased type of
technology guarantees the consumer’s contactless and safe experience with regards to the service
of Flippy, Miso Robotics creation. Furthermore, a business and establishments could continue its
operations with the use of this kind of technology since it is the one who can be a substitute for
the humans. Innovation of technology would greatly benefit the mankind, especially for this kind
of job such as in restaurant and business operations. This could prevent the business or the
establishment to shutdown and forcibly stop its operations in giving service to its consumers.

Therefore, Flippy, a type of robotic technology can be used by most of the businesses if
they wish to continue their operations. This also meets the gap that a certain business is lacking
of such as the loss of their employees/workers, offering good and quality service to its
consumers.
