OVERVIEW
First of all, we would like to thank Robin and team for providing us this opportunity to
submit the proposal to develop an Online Learning Management Suite (OLMS). Based
upon our initial talk, this is a proposal for the development of the web app under a
unique domain name.

The OLMS portal based upon UITS Learn will give the institution an online presence
and play a vital role in conducting online courses with ease. UITS Learn is a pre-
packaged Online Learning Management Suite (OLMS) optimized for selling online
courses with facility of allowing authorized students to get online course degrees.

The OLMS will allow system administrator to create unlimited courses with each course
containing various lessons/chapters (comprising of online reading materials, PDFs,
audio and video learning materials). The administrator can create more than one quiz
for every course materials for users to give online time based online test

We recommend using latest Content Management System (CMS) system to manage

the information online with a click of button, avoiding frequent FTP transfers and any
third party web design tools. While CMS will handle the content part, the frontend will
be developed using state of the art technologies to provide responsive design
compatible with current devices like mobile, tablet and laptops with different display
screen sizes.

DESIGN

Navigation Menu

The navigation menu will consists of the following:

1. Home: This menu will enable the visitors to return to the home page of the OLMS.
2. About us: This section will consist of the introduction, vision, mission and
objectives of the institution. This will also highlight the members of the team along
with their photos and designation.
3. Courses: This section will consist of the courses (free or paid) that are to be
conducted through the OLMS.
4. Events: This section will highlight the events organized by /occurring within the
institution.
5. Contact: This menu will consist of the contact address, phone, email, contact form
along with Google maps.
6. Register/Login: This section will provide the option of registering a new trainee as
well as logging on to proceed with courses.

Unlimited courses can be created. Courses can be categorized as per the subject
along with FREE & PAID options.

System admin can allot teachers to individual courses.

Students can register and enroll for multiple courses. Only System administrator has the right
to allow any student to get enrolled to their desired courses after payment is recieved.

Every course can have unlimited lessons/chapters. Each lesson can have either text/images
or audio/video as reading materials.

Videos can be hosted on third party hosting services like youtube/vimeo and embedded on
the site. Some sites support video password protection.

Even for paid courses, system administrator can allow preview of some of the lessons.
Student have an option to notify respective teacher about completion of individual lesson.
Student can provide his/her feeback regarding individual lesson.

2. Student Management System:

Students can register at the portal to enroll for any number of courses.

Every student will have his/her own dashboard showing profile, enrolled courses, settings,
etc.

Student can read his lessons anytime and on any devices. His progress in the course will be
shown under his profile page.

 3. Quiz Management System:
Unlimited numbers of quiz can be created with Multiple Choice Answers or Singe
Choice Answer with individual passing mark can be set (40 - 80%). Grading will be
done by system based upon students answer.

4. Zoom Live Meetings:

Zoom meetings can be created from the OLMS dashboard itself. Students can join
those meeting using browser or zoom app.

 5. Events:
Various forthcoming events like workshops, meetings can be created from the OLMS
dashboard to provide information to students in beforehand.

DURATION

Once all requirement details are presented to us, then it will take 20 working days to deliver
the project. We will provide 3 hours of training for system administrator along with the tutorial
video for managing the suite.

COST ESTIMATION
The OLMS will be developed by using UITS customized CMS with a unique design
along with necessary modules with extensive features. The development is a one-
time cost, but any modification in the design or addition/removal of extra features apart
from the ones mentioned in our Development Cost Estimation table below will
increase/decrease the total cost price respectively.

PORTAL MAINTENANCE/UPGRADES

After the development phase is over and the portal is deployed, further support might be
necessary from us for which we propose an AMC model where we have a fixed amount paid
for a month for certain hours of work. If those hours are exceeded then they can be billed as
For example, if we are paid Rs. 2000 every month for 2 hours of work. If further services are
needed it will cost Rs. 1000 for every additional hour.

Project Duration along with all terms and condition will be mentioned in our Terms and
Reference Contract Paper.
