What I can suggest an appropriate supply option that solves the problem in the given case study is
Overtime / idle time. It involves the ability / willingness of workers to run some overtime for periods of
very high demand. Conversely, it also means the transfer of idle workers to other jobs to some extent,
for periods with very low demand. Equipment and effort of the workers, to some degree, can also be
speeded up or slowed down. Due to what happened at Flowerstore.ph, they did not prepare any
planning or strategies for the coming of Valentine's Day, they know that the day of hearts will increase
the demand for flowers so in the days of hearts huge number of people ordered flowers from the
company clearly celebrates Valentine's Day So it happened the company failed to deliver much of the
these commands. The victims took their aggressive comments and re -crashed on social media. Some
are asking for a refund while some just want to express their full frustration. And what I can suggest to
them is that once they know that there are months when the flower demand is strong they should have
done it is they look for Part-time or temporary workers. This involves hiring people for a specified period
of time only, with no intention of keeping them in the company for good. It is common for contract
manufacturers and in the service industry during the holiday season. There are times when quality and
productivity suffer as a result of this approach
