Application Manual document contain the proposed application configuration based on the
current condition of Siloam and requirement.

Open Dynamics AX Client, navigate to System Administration > Setup > System > System
service account.
Before going through this stage, check if SQL Reporting Services already installed on server
[HO-AXSVRSSRS-01].
Refer to Install SQL Server 2012 from the Installation Wizard (Setup) document on how to
install SQL Reporting Services on server.
2. On tab Service Account, select Use another account as Report Server Service
Account.
Enter business connector account information (see Section A) and the password for
user SILOAMHOSPITALS\axapta. Click Apply before moving on to other tab.
3. On tab Execution Account, select Specify an execution account and again, enter
business connector account information (see Section A). Reenter password on Confirm
Password. Click Apply.
1. Run AX installation setup file to start installation process. Proceed the installation until
prompted with Add or modify component windows. Click on check box beside Reporting
Services extension option. In the message box that appears next, click OK.
2. On
Prerequisite Validation, select check box on column Configure next to the error, click
Configure.
Click Start on Configuring prerequisites windows. Setup will configure the required prerequisites.
When configuring process is finished, Close button will be activated. Click Close.
4. Enter business connector proxy account information according to setup that was done earlier
on Ax application (see Section A). Click Next.
Open Dynamics AX client and navigate to System Administration > Setup > Business
Intelligence > Reporting Services > Report Servers. Enter Configuration ID with HO-
AXSVRAPP-01. Select Default configuration.
On Reporting Server information tab fill Server name with HO-AXSVRSSRS-01. Fill Server
instance name with MSSQLSERVER. On Reporting Server URLS fill Report Manager URL
with http://ho-axsvrssrs-01:88/Reports, Web service URL with http://ho-axsvrssrs-
01:88/ReportServer. Enter DynamicsAX on Microsoft Dynamics AX report folder and finally
select 01@HO-AXSVRAPP-01 from list on Application Object Server name.
Click Create report folder. Wait until confirmation message appears. Click Validate settings,
verify that validation is completed successfully. Click Close.
1. Log on to server HO-AXSVRSSRS-01. Go to Control Panel > System and Security >
Administrative Tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Management Shell. Right click
on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Management Shell and choose Run as administrator.
Refer to Install SQL Server 2012 from the Installation Wizard (Setup) document on how to
install SQL Server Integration Services on database server.
2. Run Dynamics AX Installation wizard. Proceed through the installation wizard until
prompted with Add or modify components window below. Choose Data Import/Export
Framework (DIF) service. Click Next.
2. Enter server name with HO-AXSVRDB-01. Click Next to Install. When installation
complete click Finish to close.
3. After installation of Data Import/Export Framework – AOS Component, AOS service must
be restarted. To restart AOS Service, log on to server HO-AXSVAPP-01. Navigate to
Administrative Tools > Services. Find service named Microsoft Dynamics AX Object
Server 6.3$01-SILOAM2012_PROD. Click Restart the service.
4. Open AX Client navigate to Data Import Export Framework > Setup > Data
import/export framework parameters. On Shared working directory enter network path
of a shared folder located on server HO-AXSVRDB-01. Click Validate. Make sure that a
green icon is appear before closing this window.
