Project Title Web-Based School Events Management System for
University of Luzon
Team Alias
Scope of the Study This system can create school events such as
volleyball games, basketball, cultural presentation,
election of school officers etc. During school election
instead of having a compile list of candidates and
voters this system will help you manage the candidate
for voting and the attendance of voters. And
the winners can be automatically identified by the
system whoever candidates contain the highest
votes. Web-Based School Event Management System
for University of Luzon is a system that will reduce
your work and becomes very easy to handle all
matters.

Project Development Plan  Requirement Analysis. At this stage, researchers


will study how the system works, identify user
preferences, needs and requirements, and
recommend a solution. Researchers will interview
school administrators, students, teachers, school
staff to find out system requirements. After the
interview, the researchers will review the data,
research the relevant literature and study. It also
involves developing estimates for the work to be
undertaken, establishing necessary commitments,
and defining the plan to carry out the work, and
finalizing the project plan.

 System and Software Design. At this stage, the


system is designed based on system requirements.
Researchers will design the database model
structure, link database tables, design data forms,
and prepare project presentations. System design
and operational evaluation will be conducted. The
programmer will review and evaluate the design
of the system and form tables, and test the system
functions. Data Flow Diagram will be used to
represent the data flow in the system. The Entity
Relationship Diagram should be used as a data
model for the system. The programmer will create
the source code needed to build the system.

 Testing. This stage includes the process of


evaluating a system or application, to assess
whether the application meets all client
requirements and to detect errors. Requirements
such as software functionality and features where
checked to determine if it works in detail. This
stage ensures that the system is complete and
efficient, evaluates whether the software performs
all activities after integration into the existing
operating environment, and measures the
reliability and overall quality of the software.

 Implementation. In this section, the researchers


will conduct a dry-run of the system and conduct
training on the users of the target system. System
users will check if users' recommended functions
and suggestions are met.

 Operation and Maintenance. This Phase is to


ensure that the information system is fully
functional and performs well until the system
reaches the end of its life. The Operations and
Maintenance Phase consists of the following:
managing system changes to support end users,
monitoring system performance, and performing
necessary security activities such as backup, and
ongoing end user support .
