II. Verify service HUB (SHUB) port interface configuration:

Use the following command to verify the status of the fiber uplink interfaces for the 7330. You will not be
able to ping the 7330 management IP or customers will not be able to surf until the uplink interface is up.
Currently, BellSouth only uses the first 5 SHUB ports for uplink toward the network and ports 6 and 7 will
be used for downlink or expansion shelf configuration. During new turn up or NT change out the described
BellSouth configuration should be used.

with-linked-db ! activate OSWP with linked database {Usually for upgrades}
with-default-db ! activate OSWP with default database {Erases DB without removing IP config}
clear-db ! prepare NT board for migration(=>ISAM shutdown and NT Locks!)

Note: The clear-db option will lock up the NT after completely erasing the DB including SHUB DB
and IP configuration. A physical ECNT-A board reseat is necessary to restore the system. Therefore,
it is not the recommended method unless it is absolutely necessary and on-site tech is available to
reseat the NT board.

VI. Password Security command:

Execute the following command to reset and overwrite the password. In some cases, some field technicians
may have mistakenly used upper case letters for the password instead of lower case.
