Do you have an ICT facility in the school?

UNHS has ICT Laboratories for JHS Dept and SHS Dept.

What composes this facility?

Our Computer Laboratories have multimedia projectors, sound systems, computers and latest computing
facilities.

Who can use that facility?

Our computer laboratories cater students from Grades 9 and 10 of JHS Dept and Grades 11 and 12 of
SHS that are trained with skills in relation with the field of Information Technology.

What are the policy guidelines and rules in the use of the facility?

These are the policy guidelines and rules in the use of ICT facilities:

*No one is allowed to alter the setting configuration of any computer laboratory facility.

*Eating, drinking, and any form of vandalism are prohibited inside the computer laboratory.

* Silence should always be observed. Cellular phones must be in silent mode before entering the
computer lab.

* Do not abuse the hardwares/softwares, so please operate the equipments with respect and care.

What are the safety rules that need to be followed by any user?

Here are basic safety precautions to be followed when working on a computer:

*Do not touch areas in printers/computers that are hot or that use high voltage.

*Turn off the power and unplug equipment after using.

*Know where the fire extinguisher is located and how to use it.

*Keep food and drinks out of your workspace.

*Keep your workspace clean and free of clutter.
