EE-31B19-Communication Electronics-Lab: Credit Hours Contact Hours Pre-Requisite(s)

This 1-credit lab course focuses on building communication circuits using discrete and integrated electronic components. The course objectives are for students to understand basic building blocks for prototype communication transceivers through experiments using instruments like oscilloscopes and signal generators. Upon completing the course, students will be able to operate lab instruments to construct and observe filter, amplifier, oscillator and mixer circuits for applications like AM/FM modulation and demodulation. The course aims to help students achieve communication and modern tool usage program learning outcomes.
