Dear Student,

This week we will be learning to use the formalistic approach in analyzing the background and literature of the
German Epic.

After this lesson, you will be able to:

• Identify the events about the History of German Epic;


• Define unfamiliar words in the context of introduction of German Epic;
• Develop an understanding of the history of German Epic.

B. Lesson Input/Study Guide

Synchronous – Introduction of the German Epic

1. The discussion will be done via video conferencing.


2. Link will be sent through your email address. Make sure to provide 1 active email address only.
3. Join the conference 10 minutes before the given time. Late attendees will only be accepted 5 minutes after the start
of class.
4. Prepare a pen and ball pen for jotting down notes.
5. You may do an advance reading.
