I can easily say that teaching resembled for me a personally satisfying and rewarding career that
sum everything I seek for to be a useful person in the community. I think that I would succeed as
a teacher because of my enthusiasm and keenness to my subject of study as well as my ability to
easily communicate with others especially young people. I have also developed leadership skills
from a very early age were I was head of my class throughout my school life all the way to
university. I was the head of the engineering society and I was able to liaise between the students
and the teaching faculty. I can’t say that I love to be the centre of attention, but I can say that my
father always encouraged me to be brave and to express myself with no fears. He being my idol
whom was a Senior lecturer and a teacher trainer has always provided me with the support to
achieve my goals in life. I tried to follow his footsteps and I being a teacher was my utmost goal
which I am still strongly seeking to achieve. Although I didn’t go for teaching at the beginning
when I chose engineering as my undergraduate study, but I was aiming at being a university
lecturer in subjects related to engineering. It was a natural decision because I loved maths,
physics and science in general and biomedical engineering was the sum of all my favourite
subjects in a unique bouquet. During school days I used to teach my classmates maths and
science and help them to prepare for exams. I even helped my elder brother who simply hates
maths to study for his finals when I was in sixth grade and while he was in high school. My
undergrad course gave me the chance to develop my skills and to be able to have a clear, logical
approach of thinking and I was able to derive practical approach in problem solving and to have a
precise trouble shooting mind. I was able to work under pressure and developed good
organisational skills throughout my study, but this was really fruitful when I worked on my projects
in which I got very high grades. Being a mother of two I can say that I learnt to be patient and to
try to do the job along with family is very hard, but I have the needed determination to achieve my
goals in order to set the right example to my children. I want them to be proud of me as a mom
and as a person who is useful in the society. I have to say that I am very lucky to have the
support and help of my family that always backed me in all my decisions. I know that without them
I would have never reached or continued to achieve my goals. Finally, I would like to express my
keen desire to be given the chance to be part of this course and I want to thank you for the
consideration of my application.

I am interested on obtaining this training position to further enhance my skills and also offer me
the opportunity to develop new skills while strengthening those I already possess. Overall I am
seeking for many choices to gain more experience to try attracting employees and to enhance my
competitiveness in the job market.
