FAST FOOD BILLING SYSTEM

The software that is to be designed is for a fast-food restaurant. This software is


developed to automate the billing system of fast-food restaurant. This system is
developed to provide service facility to restaurant and also to the customer. This
fast-food billing system can be used by employees in a fast-food restaurant to
handle the clients, their orders and can help them easily calculate their clients’
bill. The services that are provided is bill calculation, payment through credit card,
client handling and generating reports.
Fast-food billing system is the system to manage the fast-food restaurant
business. After successful login the employee can access the record of all
customers sitting in the restaurant and their orders. The main point of developing
this system is to help fast-food restaurant administrator manage the restaurant
business and help employees and customer for easy bill payments. In proposed
system the employee can track the record of all the customers sitting in the fast-
food restaurant, and when the customer finishes his order this software will
automatically generate the bill for the customer, and the customer can then easily
pay the bill through his credit card or cash.

Users of this system:


1) Administrator
2) Employee
3) Customer

Administrator:
The administrator can keep track of all the sales made. He can view the report
generated by the system so that he can track all the records. This will help him to
manage his fast-food system easily.

Employee:
The employee can keep track of all customers sitting in the restaurant and what
are their orders. And when the customer finishes his order the system can
generate the bill for the customer and employee automatically.
Customer:
After the customer finish his order, he can view all the details of his order and the
final bill, so he can easily pay the bill through credit card or cash as this system
accepts credit card payment.

Features:
This fast-food management system will have following features:
1) This system can automatically generate bill once user has finished ordering.
2) This system can accept payment through credit card, so user can easily pay
the bill.
3) This system allows employee to keep track of all the customers sitting in
the fast-food restaurant.
4) This system can generate the report of all sales made in a day.
5) This system allows administrator to track all the sales made in a day so he
can easily manage the restaurant.

Why this system?


The proposed fast-food system requires only a computer and a credit card reader
to work properly. A computer will show bills, reports and all the transactions
made and the credit card reader will allow customer to pay directly through his
credit card. This system is easy to manage and implement. It can be implemented
with very low cost as a computer and a credit card reader doesn’t require very
large money. That is why this system should be implemented in every fast-food
restaurant.
