Comp of Knit N Woven

Knit fabrics are more elastic and conforming to the body than woven fabrics due to their interlooped structure which allows more movement. Woven fabrics provide better coverage and opacity since they have fewer open spaces between the yarns. In general, knits are less dimensionally stable than woven fabrics and require more care during washing and wearing to prevent excessive shrinking. Both knits and woven fabrics are available in a wide variety of weights and textures to suit different needs, but woven production is typically more economical at a larger scale.
