Amendment No. 1 August 2017 TO Is 383: 2016 Coarse and Fine Aggregate For Concrete - Specification

This amendment makes 3 changes to IS 383:2016 regarding coarse and fine aggregate specifications for concrete: 1. It deletes an entry from Table 1 on page 2. 2. It inserts a new entry in Table 1 on page 2 specifying a 25% maximum utilization of bottom ash from thermal power plants for lean concrete less than M15 grade. 3. It substitutes an entry in Table 3 on page 5, changing the maximum water soluble chloride content from 0.05% to 0.04%.
