2. State the factors affecting the results obtained from the polygraph examination.
 The polygraph test result can be affected by subject’s developmental problem, low intellectual
functioning, low functional maturity, and psychosis.
 Another factor that can make the accuracy of polygraph test result is the use f countermeasures.
Countermeasures are any efforts taken by examinee in attempt to alter the test data in order to
produce a truthful (negative) test results.
3. Lie detector results are not admissible as evidence in court. Why do you think people still
resort to polygraph testing as a tool for investigation?
4. Well, it is still a convenient source to gather such information by the opposed or suspected
person. Whether it can’t be presented this study still have its purpose and ways to produce and
find deception. People change, with knowledge even machine we can fool it so that why
polygraph needs some upgrades soon the result can be presented to the court.
5. In Appendix A, furnish a copy of the Polygraph Test Consent Form and fill-up the
document.
